Absolutely delightful stay in this charming bed and breakfast run by Andrew and Mulu, who welcomed us into their spectacular home. Beautifully kept, warm and comfortable, lovely facilities and extremely welcoming, this was a delightful trip back into a bygone Elizabethan age. Excellent beds which were extremely comfortable, the rooms were warm, the bathrooms super, the towels fluffy, and the...

The hospitality that Andrew and Mulu Thomson gave us made our three day stay at The Old Manor a real treat. A very comfortable bed, delicious breakfasts and the attention to detail in their spectacular Elizabethan home was made even more special when, after a long days walking, we were able to indulge in a back massage from Mulu in...

This beautifully kept and historically fascinating manor house was a pleasure to stay in. It was a privilege to stay in such a place. The rooms were stylishly and well appointed, and comfortable; the breakfasts were very good; the owners very accommodating and welcoming. I would recommend this usefully located place (just outside Dorchester) to anybody and would certainly stay...

My husband and I spent one night here whilst exploring the Dorset coast. Our hosts, Mulu and Andrew, were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The Manor has a fascinating history and our room was charming....but chilly. My husband, a hardy northerner, never usually feels the cold but even he suffered despite the extra heater in the room! Likewise,...

We booked a room here for our wedding night and a place for myself and bridesmaids to get ready. We mainly choose it to start with because of its proximity to our wedding venue. However, once we arrived we could see what an extra special hotel/B&B this truly is. We booked the Maurward Sutie, well what a spectacular room this...

A wonderful welcome and a beautiful room just for starters! It is obvious that a lot of love, attention, detail and hard work have been put into bringing The Old Manor back to life and it is a fascinating and beautiful place to look round. The room was nicely decorated and catered for everything we needed and more. Mulu and...
