We had a cracking weekend stay at Herston. The staff were super friendly and the shower facilities were clean and hot!. Its not far from Swanage so is well located should you need to pop into town. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and close to the sea too. We will be coming back in the camper to stay again!

This was booked by a family member for my mums 60th. Log cabin was very spacious and had everything we needed for our few days. We enjoyed the hot tub even for this time of year. I think it would be nice to return with my family during the summer. I brought my 5 month old son for his first...

The staff here was very nice and the hill view we had was lovely. You can walk in to swanage town from here but its bit of a walk but a nice walk. It seams to have lots of people who live there full time on here what wasn't a problem as they are very polite people and children. I...

The website makes this place look really nice. Out of season, the campsite is very dreary. Numerous battered caravans standing in long grass. The toilet/shower block were poorly maintained and VERY cold. On the plus side, this place is ideally situated as a base to explore the isle of purbeck.

Went here for one night and was very pleased with what I found. The 'sea view' is a little optimistic but a small patch of water can be seen if you stand in the right place. Facilities are decent, and it's good to have a bar and other conveniences available. I would imagine it gets pretty full in the height...

This was a return visit for us this year. Staff were helpful and friendly. We camped near the usual showers and then on the last morning discovered the new showers!. They are brilliant you have basically got your own private bathroom and endless hot water. Would like to point out that these are free! (no hassle of buying tokens) We...

First time booking a yurt. Great fun even with the rain as we had a wood burner. Nice clean toilets and great value clubhouse with very friendly and helpful staff. Really nice site but a bit of a walk to Swanage town centre, but taxi back was cheap for a night out in the town.

Iv been visiting this campsite atleast twice a year since I was 10 years of age. It has a friendly family atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming! It's a 10 minute walk from the beach and shops which is perfect and there is a shop on site which opens during the day. It's quiet where ever you stay rather...

We just stayed last weekend during Swanage Folk Festival. We have stayed in the past and this time there was an additional shower and toilet block near some yurts but a long way from where we were camped. This has two good areas with hot water for washing up. We were surprised both receptions were closed not long after 6pm...
