Booked mon-fri comfort pet caravan. Arrived just after 3pm which was early went to let reception know that we were parking up for a walk before but was surprised caravan was ready good start. on entering we found all good except not centrally heated just electric fire in main room & panel in bedroom. This time of year we like proper heating which is why I booked here. We went back to reception & said we wasn’t happy was offered upgrade at extra cost which I wasn’t prepared to do waited for receptionist 2 sort us out which she did(thankyou) gave us nice caravan with great views but up top of very steep hill.& had everything you could need but had mats everywhere. Trip hazard for sum.As we have dogs we are used to walking but found it hard work especially at night as poor lighting down even in car at night got lost finding way out may be sum signs around would help .used swimming pool once very nice but bit chilly for me. For anyone who likes a drink club shut at 5pm so didn’t use as many pubs in swanage allowed our dogs in especially the white horse good price.
Sum up beware of caravan area due to hills but cannot fault caravan & reception girl would return as great location beach& town

We went to this holiday park in half term this June. We arrived and parked up, went in to the reception but it was closed so we had our welcome pack from the bar area. We then went up and up and up to our caravan, so high up we could have done with mountaineering kit, I swear I saw monkey magic on his cloud on the way up. We went in to our caravan which was surprisingly a pet friendly one although we have no pets, it smelled a bit doggy but otherwise was newly new and clean - nice! The view out was amazing you can see all of the bay below and the other side of the valley and lovely sunsets. We were in a caravan right by the bins - joy! We were able to put our recycling, glass and refuse right in no problem...and were awaken at before 7am by other guests noisily doing the same, most considerate! We went to the club house to experience the entertainment - quiz which was hilarious as the "quiz master" read out the wrong answers in a non intentional comedy style which ace. The swimming pool was in all seriousness absolutely lovely (and very warm!), it was brilliant walking to have a swim there. We found the reception staff when they popped up from hiding in their back office to be absolutely lovely and very helpful with our cooker. For a few days this place is delightful but the walk up and down is too steep for a long stay as no restaurant or shop on site, also the bar is very expensive (£6.50 for a bottle of Newcastle Brown!). Not perfect but come on it's a caravan park! It's a nice holiday park with friendly staff. We had a good time overall and I think some of the other reviews are a bit harsh.

This was a very last minute holiday booking and so we didnt expect too much from the caravan itself, but we were pleasantly surprised at the accommodation we stayed in, it was clean, modern, spacious and had everything you needed. My only issue was that the gas oven wasnt as powerful as it maybe could have been. The beds were very comfy as was the living room. The site itself was very quiet and calm which was lovely, didnt seem overcrowded atall. It was lovely to sit on the balcony in a morning/evening and look at the views. We were very lucky and had amazing weather for our whole stay so we didnt use the pool at all however it looked lovely, ideal for a rainy day activity for families. The site location was ideal for us as we really wanted to get out and about and the walk to swanage town wasnt that bad, 15 minutes at a moderate pace. You can easily get to other tourist attractions by car too,Knoll beach, Studland bay, Old harrys rock, Lulworth Cove and Durdle door, Corfe castle and Sandbanks. I would reccommend walking over to the nature reserve next to the site aswell, the seaviews were amazing. Only negative was that its very hilly on site and I would not recommend to people with mobilty issues. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would definately visit Swange Bay View again in the future.

We booked a Superior caravan for 2 adults and a dog.

The caravan itself was lovely. It had two bedrooms, a double with an en-suite toilet & dressing table the other had two single beds. Both had plenty of wardrobe space.

The kitchen had kettle and toaster, plenty of cupboards and all the utensils, cutlery and crockery needed during our stay.

The heating system was nice and toasty, if not to warm so I had to turn it down and to ensure you have hot water make sure the temp is turned up.

We also had two welcome gifts, 1 for the kitchen which had a sponge, washing up liquid, tea towel and sachets of milk, tea and coffee which was perfect as our next stop was the shop so we had a quick drink before we went out. The other was for the bathroom with soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.

The bedding and towels were provided to.

There was a small decking which had a lockable gate on, the dog loved this and found a spot that he liked so he could be nosey.

We had a beautiful view over the bay.

The caravan park is on a hill and we were probably about a quarter up it.

The walk to The Black Swan pub is about 0.7 miles and the shops about a mile. Lovely walk down but inclines on the way back.

The staff at the holiday park were very friendly. There is a swimming pool on site and a bar. We didn’t use these but next time we will try them out.

My parents live in Swanage but as we were taking the dog this time we decided to stay in the caravan, We thoroughly loved our stay and will definitely book again!

Great gym facilities for a decent price which are maintained & cleaned regularly by staff and other gym users, The staff based in the offices are very friendly, helpful and efficient when it comes to sorting out enquiries regarding my gym membership.

Jack and Cody the 2 instructors at the gym were very helpful and gave me some good advice on workout routines & suggested some great exercises to incorporate into my future workouts.

I would highly recommend this gym!

Swanage Bay View is an owner’s only site and had limited facilities. Indeed the bar was rarely open during our stay, however that didn’t bother us at all. Our lodge was lovely. It contained a lot more than was advertised i.e. an en-suite off the main bedroom, a dishwasher, and separate freezer and fridge. It was clean and the beds very comfortable. We ordered the towel bundle £18 for 6 x large towels and 6 hand towels. They were all lovely and clean and fluffy, as was the bedding. Admittedly the lodge is located at the top of a steep hill but the views more than made up for it. We were impressed that bookings could start from any day of the week, subject to availability of course. A most enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend.

Booked 4 night mid week break costing £477 as it came with entertainment passes and the Comfort caravan, almost immediately we got an email to say that site had been taken over by a new resort company so that didn’t sit well with us… due to traffic arrived at 5.10pm(website says can’t book in til 4pm onwards) got a call at 4.30pm-reception is closing your keys are in the van!
Was emailed the barrier code, could we find the van?? Nope, we were in daisy 87,the only van seemingly with no number on it and no “daisy “ road sign Found van after much messing, got in to find a small brown bag with a site map ,the passes and a standard booklet. Quick inspection of the van it was thick with dust ,looked like aside from laundered bedding and towels and a lick round of the kitchen everyone else was dirty. I had to clean down the kitchen and the toilets just be sure . Oh and the beds!! Oh dear, you sink when you lie on it together but not in a good way, needs an upgrade ! Outside where you have space to sit ,the grass was so overgrown so your feet sank in the grass and the table and chairs were covered in spiders and muck. Had to wipe all that so we could use it
The actual van had pulls in the nets, filthy blinds and dated interior. Decided to walk down to the bar to find everything closed(bar/pool and gym) had to wait until next morning to find out the 4 night midweek break with entertainment passes and use of the bar and restaurant was a complete let down. The bar was closed monday and Tues, opened Wednesday but no food served and NO entertainment at all all week !!!
Spent the days ,which we had the best weather thankfully ,down in Weymouth ,Swanage and Swanage coastal walks. If you can’t get out off the site I’d avoid it , there’s no outdoor space for kids ,it’s incredibly steep and we felt the staff weren’t interested. We left on the Thursday as we were so disappointed.

3 Day weekend break. 20 minute walk into town, 30 minute walk back (uphill)

Stayed in one of the lodges on site.

Maybe not suitable for less mobile as the site is uphill and some of the inclines are quite steep especially if you are at the top of the site

Cant answer about the Hotel Style & Amenities as we did not use them

We have stayed at this caravan site two years running over the summer holiday with three caravans being booked on both occasions. We would recommend opting for a sea view as it is stunning and if you have specific needs in terms of space or facilities then I would speak to reception in advance. We didn’t this time around and we struggled to fit our babies cot into the bedroom. Had we known this we would have requested a different caravan in advance of travelling. That said, we had a lovely time and enjoyed having access to the swimming pool for the kids and Swanage only being a short walk/drive away. Could do with some kids entertainment in the evening at the clubhouse but not essential! We would definitely stay here again.

This was our third holiday with Aria Resorts, and as the previous two were extremely successful, we had no qualms at booking a third at Swanage Bay. Like others, we were a little concerned when before leaving, we were informed that the company had changed hands, and was now Away Resorts, but as it happened this was of no consequence.
Arrival and check-in went very smoothly, and we were issued with all the relevant bit and bobs along with our keys and a marked map of the site showing us where our caravan was sited. We climbed higher and higher up the site until we found our accommodation nearly at the top....wow, what a view! We had booked a "Comfort" caravan as all the superior one's were booked out, but I have to say we were very pleased with the caravan. Clean, comfortable, and well equipped...well that is apart from the fact that there were only two mis matched wine glasses for a four berth caravan, but we'll gloss over that!
My wife has walking difficulties and uses a motobility scooter, and I'm not as young as I used to be, so any thought of walking down and then back up, to the bar and cafe was a non-starter due to the steepness of the road. This again was not a major issue as it was fully compensated by the fabulous views from the decking.
Swanage town itself is really nice, with lots of excellent cafes and restaurants. There was one we found at the entrance to the pier that we retuned to several times as the food was superb, and excellent value.
Plenty to do in the local area, boat trip to Poole from Swanage pier, a ride on the steam railway, and a trip to nearby Corfe Castle kept us entertained.
I would thoroughly recommend both Swanage Bay, the town itself, and the surrounding area, but be aware of the site issues if you have any king of walking difficulties, it might not be for everyone.
