Fantastic value for money, perfect location, room was quiet, it was warm, bedding was clean and comfortable, the room neighbours were barely heard, had an ideal en suite bathroom, only downsides were no towels (obviously), the bathroom door wouldn't close properly and there was no decent size mirror in the room. But apart from that it was perfect.

After reading reviews for this hostel I was worried about the conditions but decided to give it a try. Upon arrival I was greeted by two friendly men at the reception desk who were pleasant to chat to and explained the hostel experience to me as I'd never used one before. After making my way to the room I was...

Bad bad bad, everthing bad. Just location it's the only and good thing. The carpet, totally stained and bad looking. Just one shaver for at least 8 rooms (double, triple, four, who knows how many people in?). Toilette without a key but plenty of toilette paper. Wi fi it was a joke. Avoid it. Bad smell and bad atmosphere. Staff...

That s the worst and dirtiest place i ever stayed in my life and the worst of all is that i paid £100 for that. Please avoid this kind of filthy places. Brighton is such an expensive place but at least you should get some quality for the money you pay. Horrible

I came to Brighton with my friends to celebrate my 21st birthday. I booked the grapevine as it was cheap and everywhere else was expected £60+ a night per person. I was expecting much from a hostel just needed somewhere to rest our heads at the end of the night! Unlucky the weekend I choose to go down there the...

Where do I start with this place. First of all it's worth mentioning I run hotels (pompous snob I hear you cry) but bear with me. I am completely open to alternative accommodation and happy to stay in a variety of establishments. I was definitely expecting basic but I wasn't prepared for just how little the people that run this...

We (a group of 6 people) stayed here for one night. The location is perfect but that's about it. Even though it was for only one night, it was very uncomfortable and gross. The sheets smelled, the bathroom was unclean and the overall hygiene was poor. We had a room with a sea view but because of the single glazing...

Location of the hostel is great, next to the sea front, round the corner from a great fish and chips restaurant, great for clubs to Pryzm and other bars along the sea front. A walk away from the main high street so perfect for all location needs. Beds were very comfy, the room was a bit cold until all of...

Amazing service, immaculate and comfortable. Had to stay here because the trains weren't playing ball. They were really good to me and by a stroke of luck could give me a room to myself. Would stay here again.

Two stars only due to the location otherwise one star. It did the job for a a one night stay for Brighton nightlife but the hostel itself was the worst I've stayed in and I've stayed in quite a few. The bathroom was very dirty, toilet didn't flush, and the shower had bugs and mould everywhere.
