My wife and I, along with another couple, booked the Artists Residence for a couple of nights to just chill out after their daughters wedding. We did just that, and had a really enjoyable time. The rooms are all different and really quirky. Ours had small wasps painted on the

Hello BigJohnDeere, We are so glad you had a relaxing time and felt as though you could chill out after the big day! Thank you so much for all your positive feedback and I will be sure to let the rest of the team know. We pride ourselves in our quirky rooms and the murals on the walls teamed with some of the design feature you have mentioned, we think make each one special and are glad that you agree. The Set really are outstanding in providing the best quality breakfast to our guests and Im so happy you enjoyed them as much as we do, ill have to give the apple pancakes a try soon! We loved having you and it'd be our pleasure if you returned. You could even try our sister hotels in London, Penzance, Oxfordshire and coming soon.. Bristol! Best, Douglas and The ARB Team

Our favourite hotel in Brighton. Beautiful hotel rooms, a great bar with fab cocktails, friendly staff, and a wonderful restaurant next door. The rooms are unique and exquisitely detailed. Sure they could be bigger but it's clear from their website that the focus is not on space

A great place to stay if you want something slightly different from the bland hotels you have stayed in everywhere else. The hotel is converted from a Regency house so is higgledy-piggledy and a bit cramped but with quirky styling and lots of nice touches. The ‘industrial chic’

Hello "Jude064", Firstly I'd like to start off by saying thank you for leaving such a lovely review. We are really glad that you got the opportunity to experience the Breakfast that The Set put on, they do an amazing job at cooking up delights for our guests in the morning and I will pass on your feedback to the team (especially about that decaf coffee). Its such a shame to hear that the bed in your room was not to your liking but we always appreciate our guests feedback so that it can help us make positive changes moving forward. Some of our rooms are on the smaller size but as you say this original Regency House can come across a bit higgled piggledy so we try to make the best use of the space available. Our team our knowledgable in all of our rooms here and you can give us a call or an email any time to discuss any questions on queries you might have and so we can make any future stay exceed your expectations. We hope to speak to you soon and look forward to welcoming you back to The Artist Residence Brighton! Best wishes, Douglas and The ARB Team

I stayed here with my partner at the beginning of March. The location is perfect and the hotel is directly opposite the Regency Square car park, eliminating the usual Brighton parking issues. The room itself was small (as is the case with most Brighton hotels) but really

Hi 'Emma_A_London' Thank you very much for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. It was a pleasure to accommodate you over the weekend and I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. We are very lucky to have Regency Square Underground Car Park just opposite us which nearly always has space for our residents to park up! As the hotel is based in a Grade II Listed Building there is only so much we can do in terms of making our rooms bigger etc however I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the minibar and other amenities. I am sorry to hear that the room was too warm for you, we do make a point of leaving the heating on in our rooms so they are nice and toasty for when our guests arrive (even in sunny sunny February). This is due to the fact that our ever so old radiators can take a bit of time to heat up when you are in the room and we would hate for any of our guests to feel cold! I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed the food and drink from The Set and The Fix, I will make sure the relevant teams are aware. We look forward to welcoming you back to Artist Residence Brighton soon, please feel free top try out our other sites in Oxford, Cornwall and London. Kindest Regards, Atma

Do you have any rooms or suites suitable for 3 adults to share? Thanks Hilary
hi Hilary, even the large rooms are fairly cosy because the hotel is a tall building but not vast. As such, I don't think there are rooms for 3 adults. You might want to call the hotel nevertheless. Best wishes, Alexandra

Can anybody please tell me which room would be the best? Just my wife and I for 2 nights - thanks!
Dear Chris, Thank you very much for your enquiry. After following our guest's feedback I would say our Medium Sea View or Bigger House Sea view with Balcony are best rooms in the house! If you have any more questions, please do let me know. Best regards, Malwina
