We have wanted to stay here for a long time, and it did not let us down, from the moment we walked in the staff made us welcome and couldn’t do enough for us. We had an absolute ball our room was stunning and had so much character, there was an album launch in the evening so we didn’t have to leave the premises apart from dinner. A memorable night that won’t be forgotten. Had a lovely breakfast in the morning only thing we regret is only going for one night!!!!

We stayed for one night in the Dollywould room. The room was delightfully Dolly with books, photos, hats etc concerning Dolly and USA. The bathroom is small but who comes somewhere like this to linger in the bathroom and in any case, its beautifully presented. The whole place is decorated rock and roll style so just going up and down the stairs is like doing a rock and roll tour.

Evenings cocktails were excellent. Breakfast was substantial and tasty. All the staff were super friendly, chatty if you want them to be, and efficient at what they did. And there was no problem leaving our bags pre check in and post check out.

Covid-wise, there's plenty of sanitiser, one way stairways and socially distanced tables in the breakfast/bar area and everyone wore masks in the public places.

If you like Brighton, then Pelirocco fits the Brighton scene perfectly, even for old farts like us.

Unable to take our summer holiday we used a gifted 2 night stay booking the Dupenny Boudoir for 2 nights ... we were not disappointed. This quirky hotel located minutes from the seafront in the elegant Regent Square offers a fabulous location and the best of British hospitality - friendly and welcoming staff, comfortable bed, excellent shower and the best Full English breakfast we’ve eaten.

Our room was decorated and accessorised with Dupenny originals, furnished comfortably with tea and coffee and TwirlyWhirly chocolate bars also included. All their rooms are uniquely themed, the bar/restaurant is decorated with artisan wallpaper and all the stairways show off a huge eclectic display of posters, print and other art ...... definitely to be recommended.

(Also worth noting at the current time great attention paid to COVID-19 precautions hand sanitiser and masks to be used and provided in communal areas except whilst dining and a one-way system throughout the hotel made us feel very secure).

I booked the Star Wars themed room as a surprise for my Star Wars obsessed boyfriends birthday and he was amazed! It was just an amazing room! All the small details in rooms decor to fit the theme and 6 Star Wars film DVD’s available made the room that extra bit special. We were offered free breakfast as a result of booking directly through the hotel however were too hungover to take up that offer. Although the room has a bunk bed, the bottom bunk is a large single bed and so fit both of us. I also ordered the birthday package to be ready in the room for when we arrived, which was 100% value for money, the quality of everything was insane. Location was fantastic for all things to do in Brighton. Staff were so friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. We really didn’t want our stay to be over and will definitely be making another booking in the near future! Can’t recommend this hotel enough!

Brighton is replete with boutique hotels, varying in quality enormously. This one is at the top of the pile.

Quirkiness is its watchword, what with its themed rooms (we stayed in the Burlesque room) and engaged staff.

As with almost all these Regency period buildings, this one is not without its age-related problems. For us, this manifest itself in a very chilly top floor room. However, the staff were quick to respond to our need for additional heat.

The lift was also a period piece, but in a building of this age and in comparison with other such hotels, the mere presence of a lift is a major plus point.

Also, their response was swift to our request for hypoallergenic bedding.

Pelirocco is not in competition with the 4-stars on the seafront. It vies for customers with other boutique establishments in places such as Regency Square & Kemptown.

And in my opinion it is at the top of that particular league.

We arrived Saturday 25th july for my birthday and met by the lovely Linda, the hotel is quirky and quite simply amazing, we had to wait a little extra for our room but during a pandemic you really don't mind that extra bit of cleanliness.

As a good will gesture we were giving a free bottle of prosecco, such a lovely touch. We stayed in room 0 * lovers lair * and wow what an amazing room, worth every penny we didn't want to leave.

The staff are all so friendly and everything was spot on and clean, the cocktails were really good, we really enjoyed our stay here despite the rain, i had such a wonderful and fun birthday we literally can't wait to return!

Thank you for having us.More

Second time staying at Hotel Pelirocco, the first time we stayed in the “Pin up Parlour” which we LOVED and this time we booked “DollyWould” and “The Lovers Lair” for my 35th birthday.

Easy and friendly check in on arrival, handy lift to save us carrying our luggage up the stairs, the DollyWould room was brilliantly themed in a Dolly Parton style which even included a jukebox and a lovely view of Recency Square and the sea!

The Lovers lair was a treat, it’s a huge suite with a private court yard, couples sinks/shower and bath, lounge area, private entrance, large round bed and a strippers pole!

We had cocktails both nights which we really enjoyed and a full English Breakfast both mornings which was tasty and came with a great service.

The hotel is in a great location with a stone throw to the beach and a short walk to the main town centre.

We can’t wait to come back and try all the rooms, the only problem is deciding which room is next on the list haha!

Stayed here as an anniversary present to my boyfriend. We booked the lovers lair suite and it did not disappoint! The closest parking is just across the road in a locked up public car park which costed us £20 over night. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who gave us our keys and told us all the information we needed to know. The room was amazing! We had our own door to come and go through, a huge 2 person bath with 2 showers. A huge circular bed with a mirror on the ceiling and a pole.
Such a great surprise for my boyfriend we both loved it!
We also booked direct so we got a complimentary breakfast. And as we had the suite breakfast was delivered to our room. We had a choice of multiple breakfasts - we had 2 full English’s you can also have some fruits, yogurts and cereal.
The hotel is in a perfect condition, it’s so close to the sea front and it’s basically next to the British airways 360.
Thank you so much Hotel pelirocco you were amazing!!

Honestly forget the big chain hotels, if you want the best customer service along with food and drinks all wrapped up in the most fun, individual and amazing hotel then this is the place for you. we have stayed here many times in the last 10 years and still when we walk in the door you are greeted so well by happy helpful staff. all rooms are themed and we have stayed in many of them and all are so nicely decorated with touches of brilliance.

Book direct and breakfast is included, the full English is done with great quality produce and very clean on the plate, they also offer many options of hot food as well as cereals, fruit, toast and the coffee is amazing.
each time we came in and out of the hotel your greeted with a smile

You are 50 yards from the beach, restaurants, shops and cafes are a short walk away and there is really good secure parking over the road. Honestly try this place and you will like us never stay anywhere else.

Thanks to all the staff that made our stay amazing yet again.

I had a fabulous 1 nights stay with my fiancé in the Tropical Paradise room and wished we could have stayed longer! We turned up an hour early before check in to see if we could drop our bags off, but were delighted to be told our room was ready and could go straight up. Our room was absolutely gorgeous and beautifully decorated, with lovely touches here and there. I really enjoyed chilling in the hammock whilst listening to old records. The bed was very comfortable and I slept so well despite a few early morning noises from building work nearby.
The room is on the 3rd floor and looks out over regency square and has a lovely partial sea view. There is a very snug little lift if you don’t feel like climbing the stairs, but maybe avoid if you’re a bit claustrophobic. All the staff were friendly, attentive and made us feel really welcome. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and filled us up for most of the day.
This hotel is so unique and popping with colour and everywhere you look inside, is a feast for your eyes.
We both loved this funky rock n roll boutique hotel and can’t wait to come back soon! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!!

As a light sleeper is there a quiet room?
Answer from pelirocco
Brighton, United Kingdom3 contributions2 helpful votes
Hi Lorna, Is it a single for double you are looking for ? The upper two floors are the quietest. Tropical Paradise, DollyWould, Soul Supreme as doubles and Do Knit Disturb is the quietest single. We are situated in Regency Square, just away from the seafront by 100 yards and so its quieter than the hotels on the front. Look forward to seeing you. Regards Marko
