Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It's not too far from the Laines and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was good value. We didnt know it housed people in temporary accommodation. No one who was living there caused any issues it was just a surprise to see so many people who were obviously experiencing housing and health issues.

Great staff and spotless room which was quiet throughout the night. Good food at good prices too. Would highly recommend if visiting brighton as it is a great location. Can't fault it and will stay there again when in the area

The hotel was nice, clean and warm. The staff were exceptionally nice and accommodating. The room itself was clean and inviting. The bed was comfortable and extra pillows were available for additional comfort. There were all the usual expected amenities as well as some additional little treats that made us feel at home. The car park is quite compact and it is first come first serve. The hotel is within walking distance of shops, bars and everything else within the centre of Brighton. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good service, clean room and excellent staff all made our stay a most pleasant experience. The restaurant menu was a bit limited, but the food was fresh and well presented. Prices were competitive including for drinks etc.

We had a great stay, on accessible room for two people and a single occupancy for my daughter, with our dog. We got parked (disabled) quite easily, although the car park was getting full. Lovely staff and very enjoyable breakfast.

The hotel is in a perfect location as it’s just across the road from Preston park and within walking distance to town. We’ve stayed here a few times as family live in the area. Preston park travelodge would always be my first choice when staying in Brighton, as it’s reasonably priced with the option to eat onsite. The beds are comfy, and the family room is pretty big, you’re also allowed to bring a pet for a small fee, which is ideal for us.

Very friendly service from the guy in the reception. The hotel was clean throughout and in a good location with great transport links (about 20 minutes from main area). The room is great with perfect view of Preston Park. Will definitely come back again!
