I was placed at Hudsons for two nights accommodation with work - and was told to call the host to let them know when I would be arriving. As I was driving from London, I called them to give them an hours' notice, at around 7.30 pm, to which the reply was that it was unacceptable and outrageous, even though... More

Nice Guest house.. Clean, comfy and quiet. Room lovely. Well stocked mini bar. Tea and coffee provided. Quiet location in walking distance of everything, sea, shops, pier etc.. Check out 11am but was able to store luggage.. Will stay again..

The location of Hudsons is great. The room was large but the shower room was tiny and there was no pressure in showerhead and no hot water either. The staff were unhelpful and refused to give me more shower gel. Perhaps since the shower didn't work they thought I had no need of gel. The room was also very hot... More

I arrived here to a very lacklustre welcome. I was handed the keys as they left to go out somewhere. The room was clean enough but the towels could have been fresher. I asked the owner for some cutlery which seemed to offend him and he simply didn't bother to get me them. There was seemed to be some building... More

Had a long weekend in Brighton and picked Hudsons as was close to the beach and local bars. Pleased to find the guest house was clean and comfortable, not much noise and a cute little en suit shower room. It was an easy walk to good night life and the Lanes, and the owners were very welcoming and helpful. Great... More

We stayed here for 1 night. We paid £77 for a basement room which is average (but by no means cheap) for this part of Brighton. The room was nicely decorated and cozy, with an en-suite bath/shower. Unfortunately neither heating appliances seemed to work in the room and so we were cold at night time and had to use the... More

My boyfriend and I recently spent a long weekend at the Hudsons. Lovely guesthouse. So reasonably priced, great value. Amazing location, just minutes from the seafront and pier. The room was immaculate with tasteful, well put together decor and quirky artwork. Nice little en suite with a shower. Great complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee facilities and mini fridge/bar in room... More

This is a nice guesthouse close to the centre of Brigthon and to the Brighton dome. It's clean and the staff is friendly. Only problem may be that if you need the internet, it doesn't work very well on the upper floor rooms, so make sure you ask before booking. Apart from this, I recommend the place and will certainly... More
