We decided to have a short break near us and decided on Brighton. We trawled the net to see what was available and The Griffin caught our eyes. Well we were not disappointed. We arrived and had a right result with the parking (as it is a challenge) and parked outside by good luck. The greeting was great and were shown to our room & the facilities by Kieran. It was so clean. The room was a good size and again clean. Superb spa bath & nice shower. The breakfast is unusual but nice & would recommend you have the toast on the side as the food on top made the toast a tad soggy. The place is very close to everything so we left the car for the three days we stayed. Superb service from the guys and nothing was any hassle for Kieran. He really helped me with some scanning whilst I set up his new printer. Great reciprocity. Really super stay and thanks guys. We will be back if you will have us? Love n Light always Andy & Joanie

My husband and I enjoyed two nights at The Griffin recently. Perfect location for all that Brighton has to offer. We arranged a parking ticket with the B&B hosts on arrival which covered us for the whole weekend we were there. We were lucky to grab some street parking right outside the accommodation and didnt use the car again until we went home. The road is opposite the sea front and a stones throw from the Palace Brighton Pier with all its amusements. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly and we could not have asked for more from the service. Our room was on the top floor and well worth the climb, love comfy bed, luxury spa bath and great facilities. The road can seem a little noisey sometimes but after a day getting sea air and a few cocktails, Not a problem. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and the hosts always happy to accommodate. (Just a note that you’ve run out of marmite ;)!) i would highly recommend a stay here as I said walking distance to all the main areas you’d want from Brighton.

It's been years since I last stayed, I used to be a regular. This time I had 5 nights during a conference, arrived feeling lousy and grumpy! Fast forward after being looked after like a prince, with THE most comfortable bed (like sleeping on a cloud with fluffy pillows and a snuggly duvet), a whirlpool bathtub and separate shower (with a proper rain shower head, full on water pressure), and expertly prepared fresh breakfasts...and I feel right as rain, despite working long hours. Chris and Kieran are expert hosts because they're sincere, they genuinely want to welcome you to their home from home, they don't cut corners - in fact, they go the extra mile in all that they do. Some of the bigger, supposedly luxury and more expensive hotels could learn from these guys. And if you're not familiar with Brighton & Hove, do ask them for advice on where's good and where to avoid, you'll get the insight of true Brightonians, ideal if you want to avoid the touristy haunts. Can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: They're all great, but maybe see if you can get one with a whirlpool bath, who doesn't...
