Got a sea view room, room was tidy and clean, floorboards typical of an old building. Reception guy efficient and friendly. Didn't eat there went to Weatherspoons. They have an indian restaurant on site, looked ok should have tried it. Would use it again, trouble is Hastings is a bit run down, there's a lovely pier with brand new decking...

Only booked a day before so had to do in a rush for a party I was working with but we were all pleased with the rooms, they are a bit basic and could do with a lick of paint just to brighten them up , and also why only two plug sockets, but other than that they were clean...

Stayed at this hotel for one night for New Year's Eve. Room was disgustingly dirty, bathroom rotten. (See photos). £92 including breakfast. What a rip off. Breakfast was pleasant but no choice other than the menu put in front off you, cold coffee, bland taste. No offer of sauces, jams, marmalade and for £8.50 each would rather of gone to...

This hotel is a classical sea-side hotel, with everything going for it. The location is stunning, with a mixture of both modern and old history. The staff is just so "down to earth" and they greet you every morning. There is nothing bad to say really...The rooms are simple, yet satisfying. Walking to the city centre took us about 10-15...

I stayed at this hotel after a friend recommend it. Basically you get what you pay for. £60 for a double and £45 for a single room is great value for a hotel room, right on the seafront. I had a double room on the third floor. It was quite large, and two windows with a fantastic sea view. The...

We attended a friend's birthday party down in the Green Room. Great venue for the band and around 70 people. Drinks reasonable and a funky flashing dance floor! The bedroom was spacious and fairly clean costing £69 for the night. The downside was that the pillows were really uncomfortable, to the extent we both had a rough night's sleep plus...

The hotel looks rough from outside, my room which was 117 and my parents room in 114 were almost identical in faults. Dirty and grimey. Dust everywhere, stains on walls and carpets. Bath and shower had mould growth and dirty brown stains everywhere. Bath and been painted in white gloss at some point and paint was flaking away revealing dirty...

There are a lot of negative views on here regarding the Chatsworth, some are understandable , some not so , the rooms and bedding were very clean , the staff ,we found , we're really nice, however, very little on the way of the extras that help make a stay easier. ..no shampoos , one soap between two people ,...
