What can i say - stayed a night on 28th July. Lovely hotel, lovely and smiling staff. Enjoyed the stay very much. Just facing the sea. Beautiful. The room was very clean and very fresh beddings. Outside sitting for coffee was lovely. Will definitely visit again.

The staff at this hotel are all friendly and helpful. I think some are fairly new but they are very enthusiastic even at busy times. Food is of a good quality, nicely presented and there is a good choice. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was of a reasonable size - I particularly liked the free standing corner shelf. It was nice to have somewhere to put things. The only addition to the bathroom which would be helpful would be a hook behind the door. The hospitality tray was generous and I particularly appreciated the bottled water. There is plenty of lounge space and I loved the relaxed atmosphere in the cafe bar with its terrace opposite the beach. Lifts could perhaps be better signposted .The pictures on the walls are quite quirky and add to the character of this lovely seaside hotel - ideal for a stay in Hastings.

I found this hotel on an internet search. It looked just what I and my friends were looking for. It had rooms available with a sea-view, which is what we wanted (others in the area didn't have sea-view available or did not look inviting). The hotel had been recently re-furbished and was clean and tidy. The rooms were good and again clean, tidy and comfortable. Breakfast, although not included in the price, was charged at a 10% discount for residents. The selection was good and the quantity brilliant. I cannot fault the hotel at all. As well as the above, all the staff (front desk, management, restaurant) were extremely accommodating from the time we arrived until we checked out 2 days later they could not do enough for us. Having breakfast and evening drinks on the terrace we could have been anywhere in the world. The 4 of us had a thoroughly fabulous time. 5 star recommendation.

We stayed at The White Rock Hotel for a short break of four days a few weeks ago. The room was very large, on the first floor overlooking the pier and very clean and comfy, the superking bed was excellent. I thought it would be too noisy but it wasn't at all, it was lovely to look out and see what was happening on the beach and the pier. The staff were excellent, some were probably new to the job but they were all so helpful, which makes such a difference. We ate in the hotel twice in the evening and had our four breakfasts there and the food was good, with a really good vegetarian breakfast. I would have rated it five stars if the car park had a barrier as sometimes we couldn't get in, then you had to rush out in the morning to check the meter. Other than that it was perfect.
