Everything was amazing. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a table and chairs to have breakfast on. Breakfast was delivered to the room at a time suitable for us. The breakfast was gorgeous a choice of toasted sandwiches, orange juice toast, yoghurt, pastries, tea and coffee cheese and cereal. The rooms are cleaned every day after we left the room. There was sanitizers everywhere. The hosts were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The grounds were lovely too. Highly recommend this guest house.

We arrived mid afternoon and Liz and Alfredo was there to greet us, we went through COVID protocols an was very impressed with the amount of Care they had taken. We went to our room, Alfredo asked to assist with our luggage. The room was beautiful and very comfortable with plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a fridge in the cupboard with water and milk in it. A table and fold chairs for breakfast which was served in the room, breakfast was more than plentiful with a hot toasted bacon and egg sandwich, hot pastries, jam/ marmalade, cheeses, orange juice, cereal and fruit, a bath and shower with lots of bath/shower gel shampoo/conditioner,hand soaps and lotions, dressing gowns. A hairdryer. The room had beautiful views of the gardens which they take great care of,. Liz and Alfredo was excellent hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. Definitely would stay there again…

Our first visit to Summerfields, three years ago, taught us to be confident that Liz and Alfredo would provide well and appropriately for us well during this challenging pandemic period. We needed to be resident for 8 nights while we house-hunted, and we enjoyed every minute of our stay at this lovely B+B. We asked for the big room, known as the family room, which sports plenty of space and light, a balcony and a jacuzzi in the spacious bathroom. Everything that could be done to make us feel relaxed and at home was done. A delicious breakfast, some of it hot, was delivered to our door every morning. Guests hailed each other in jolly fashion from a distance but none of us breakfasted together. Rooms and common areas were scrupulous;y cleaned every day and linen changed often. If you are longing for a break on the coast and unsure of where to go to be safe and carefully taken care of during this national crisis you could not choose better than Summerfields.…

Lovely stay here with welcoming hosts. Lovely breakfast box with lots of choice. The hosts could not do enough for us. Twenty five minute walk to town downhill but uphlll on the way back! Lidl close by. Very clean b&b.
