We stayed just one night in this gorgeous period home, Sarah has thought of everything and our stay was comfortable and relaxing. Good quality white bed linen, a selection of teas and herbal infusions, white fluffy towels and home made cookies, fresh milk, we felt so well looked after😀 Breakfast was tasty, served on hot plates which I like and...

What lovely comments; it is always a wonderful bonus when guests feel appreciative enough about their stay to take the time to write a review. It was a joy having you in our home, and a delight to meet you all.

Who wants a hotel ? The welcome here is completely charming; the room comfortable & warm. I particularly appreciate having hooks, say, on the backs of doors. The whole house has been cleverly furnished, with an individual feel. There are some lovely pieces (incl. the Leonardo in the ensuite). And then we come to the breakfast; I defy the best...

I really should have responded months ago to your lovely review Ali. I do appreciate you bothering to take the time to do this. It makes a huge difference, and is naturally extremely helpful to know we are doing things right! Very many thanks, and it would be wonderful to see you again one day!

I visited Lewes last Summer with my mother and we stayed at Dubois Bed and Breakfast. We had the twin room, which was very comfortable and beautiful. In the private bathroom there was a walk in shower and Victorian bathtub. The whole house was beautifully decorated and everything was spotless clean. The breakfast was superb and nicely set. Our hosts...

We stayed with our parents at this beautiful B & B during the rugby world cup. Sarah and her husband are so welcoming and their home is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are perfectly decorated and so comfortable. The breakfast is definitely something to book a return visit for.

After a slow journey on the North Circular and M25 we had a very warm reception from Sarah and her husband. Nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay and as other reviews have indicated breakfast was first class using only the best ingredients and cooked to order. This is a very traditional English home and with a traditional welcome...

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend, and booked the double bedroom. Sarah is a wonderfully welcoming host, even when I arrived late after a bad train journey. The house is beautiful and all the little touches make all the difference - home made jams in the mornings and home made biscuits in the bedroom. And we both...

A classic Victorian house, beautifully decorated and managed by a thoroughly charming couple. And we enjoyed what my wife claims is the best hotel breakfast she has ever had. I couldn't disagree. We were visiting our daughter in Brighton, where hotel accomodation and parking are expensive, and room availability problematical. So, knowing how attractive Lewes is, and an easy run...

Impeccable housekeeping. Great helpfulness. And those wonderful touches -- fresh flowers in bedroom and fabulously eclectic books in room. And the ultimate luxury-- linen sheets. Huge attention to detail and everything served with great style -- a long time since I have seen butter curls in any 5 star hotel. And the most beautiful linen used not only in bedroom...

Dubois Bed and Breakfast is close to all the amenities of Lewes and is only a stones throw from the delightful Pelham Arms (try the Tangle Foot ale!) as well as the High Street. We stayed here for the weekend and were delighted by the warmth of the hosts, the delicious breakfasts and of course, the superbly clean house. Initially...

We stayed here for a night for a graduation in Brighton. The house itself is beautiful, a lovely town house with beautiful furnishings in a nice quiet part of town. Sarah was so lovely, greeting us warmly with homemade scones and tea! The rooms were delightful, warm, comfy and cosy, containing everything you could want and more. The breakfast was...
