I stay in Rye regularly for business and I always opt for the regent. Fantastic rooms and even better staff. The rooms are always clean and tidy. Decorated to a fantastic standard and the staff are just wonderful people.

This is a clean, well-run hotel with parking in the centre of Rye. Its friendly and welcoming owner is only present at certain times and there are no breakfast facilities (although there is tea and coffee in rooms). The Regent is close to many cafes so there are plenty of good breakfast opportunities. Our room had a TV, the beds were comfortable and the shower worked fine. We were happy with our stay.

Not sure what to expect having never stayed at a motel. Very pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, lots of towels, coffee, tea kettle. Our room faced the Main Street and car park, so was a little noisy but nothing that kept us awake. More noise was caused by selfish guests thundering up and down stairs and letting doors slam, no fault of the hotel. I’m also not a fan of wooden floors, far to noisy for me, personal choice . The owners are lovely and very helpful. We pre booked and paid for a parking space and was well worth it. Great motel highly recommend.
