This was booked by my husband for us to have a spa break after the chaos of Christmas. The hotel is lovely, in a fabulous location with quaint shops. We stayed in a deluxe room with balcony. The room was spacious, clean & gorgeous. Breakfast in the room is free of charge which is a perfect little touch. However, this...

My boyfriend bought this for me as a surprise for my birthday. We stayed for 1 night and had breakfast and dinner included. The hotel is in a picturesque location with amazing views and has its own private car park. The room we stayed in was beautiful and quaint, however I would say the bathroom needs a bit of a...

Stayed here as a surprise from my partner and had a lovely time. The hotel is centrally located in Rye with the High Street just around the corner, and has great views out over the marshes. We were given a complimentary upgrade and the room was fantastic, giant comfortable bed, tastefully furnished, a wide selection of tea/coffee and Nespresso machine...

Stayed here for one night, had a beautiful room (17) Spotless clean, and comfy bed, with tea and coffee machine. Nice bathroom with good quality toiletries. Doors opened onto small decking to car park, so car was directly outside the room. Just outside bedroom door was the entrance for the pool and sauna. Small pool but perfect as I was...

Negatives : small bathroom with only a shower, jacuzzi water temperature too low, lockers locked with no keys evident so unable to use. Positives : characterful hotel, nice decor if a little tired, reasonably-sized rooms, good service, ample breakfast, free car park, ideal central location

We stayed here as a couple for one night at the end of December. One of the main reasons we chose the Rye Lodge was that it was dog friendly. The courtyard room we were given was ideal as the room opened directly onto a decking area making it easy for the dog to go out when he needed to....

Hello We enjoyed our stay and generally everything was good. Breakfast was good and it's good to see you use local produce. Staff were all courteous and friendly. There were just two negatives - we were unable to unlock the rear door despite many attempts. Also we noticed a dangerously loose step when leaving the front courtyard. It's completely unstuck....
