We stayed here for the May bank holiday weekend and had the most amazing time. The windmill is tucked away down a quiet driveway, but within just a few minutes walk from the pretty cobbled streets of Rye. The hosts are so friendly, warm, welcoming and helpful. Our room was cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Tea, coffee, water and biscuits...

On arrival we were greeted by the owner who was very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was light and spacious, there was really nice touches on our arrival and throughout our stay. Everyday we had fresh bottled water with glasses and tea facilitys plus a nice wrapped biscuit and small bar of chocolate, which we had every...

We recently spent 3 nights in the Windmill Suite and would thoroughly recommend it. An unusual place for a break but that really added to the experience. The suite is clean, comfortable and tidy and, of course, benefits from 360 degree views. A big bonus for us was the upstairs bathroom with large bath (offering great views) and large walk...

My wife and I stayed one night in the Windmill, room four. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The small guest lounge had believe it or not a 'Honesty Bar' yes you poured yourself your own drinks and wrote it down in a book, how cool is that. Location is a very short walk into Rye. Overall the experience...

Rye Windmill is comfortable, clean and friendly and the breakfasts are superb. It is a two-minute walk away from the old town, but half the price of some of the hotels and B&Bs in the more picturesque streets. Great for a family stay and who doesn’t want to stay in a windmill?!.

My daughter and me had a wonderful and much too short stay at the windmill. Just a few minutes of walk away from the town center, it is ideally located. The room was equipped with all you need, hairdryer and WiFi included. Lovely breakfast! I will be looking forward to come again. Martin and Hannah

We had a lovely stay at The Windmill. Very comfortable and clean. Lots of extra little touches. The breakfasts were amazing. The honesty bar was a wonderful touch. After a lovely night out it was nice to come back for a nightcap. Toby was so helpful, we had all the information we needed which he highlighted on a map. We...
