Such a relaxing break and breakfast was truly wonderful. Trampoline, chickens & rope swing in the garden were a lovely surprise for the kids. We had the Porker rooms which meant we had a separate part away from the house. This was great with Covid still around. We felt very safe & comfortable & the rooms were spotless. Great location too with the walk to Flatford mill just next to the accommodation. We will definitely be back 😊

Stayed here for one night ... upon arrival we were met by the hosts and shown to our room. The room was clean and full of character ... in fact, parts of the building dates back to the 14th century. Once settled in we were offered tea/coffee and freshly made brownies in front of the log fire ... very welcoming. Throughout the stay we found the owners very helpful and attentive ... and overall a very relaxing weekend in some lovely surroundings. Would definitely recommend this place ... and we will return - a great find.

My second visit to this most welcoming place: lovely atmospheric old house with gorgeous grounds, it's part of the village and so close to the Stour river. Excellent art tutor, wonderful facilities, so very comfortable and beautifully looked after with the most delicious meals - thank you Wendy and your team! Hilary
