Food was superb and the staff in the bar and restaurant were very attentive. Beautiful surroundings in the village and Cotswolds overall were stunning Staff also helped resolve a problem I had with my car

It was a half way meeting point for the family to celebrate my Mothers Birthday and we were not disappointed! Sunday lunch was delicious, plentiful and served by some excellent staff. It always has been a warm and welcoming place and it's popularity has not dwindled. Only one niggling comment to make was about the Receptionist on the front desk,... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights, as part of our trip to the Cotswolds to celebrate my wife's Birthday. Beautiful room and amazing food. We had our elderly dog with us, who was very pampered! Even down to a dog basket and dog treats, what made it even better was that the hotel has a... More

Dropped in to Bibury as it had been recommended as somewhere attractive for a walk. We weren't disappointed. Decided to have lunch at The Swan (after checking that our dog would be allowed in), and were extremely pleased by the welcome from Bruno and the staff. It really was hotel quality service (as opposed to good pub service). The menu... More

Room was a the Swan's basic 'good' room (no 15 awful/no view) which was ok but given the £220 price tag for one night plus breakfast and four star rating I'd expect everything to be pretty spot on. So I might sound picky but if I'm parting with £200 plus for one night, then I think I'm within my rights... More

Beautiful hotel in a very quiet and picturesque location. We visited midweek in November, were upgraded to a fabulous room at the front and found it quiet and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is a lovely room and the food good, imaginative and with a range of vegetarian options. The one problem, and for me... More

I enjoyed a two night stay at The Swan for a wedding recently and loved every minute. The hotel enjoys a picture postcard setting next to the bridge and the river. It is very quaint and charming in the village. The entrance and reception are are all very warm and welcoming with log fires crackling away in most downstairs rooms.... More

Wonderful and charming English hotel in a beautiful part of the Cotswolds. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. It's well located for exploring many of the towns and attractions of the Cotswolds. You couldn't get any closer (2 minute walk) to the famous Arlington Row, wonderful picturesque cottages built in 1380. I read somewhere that it is in... More

We've got there on a weekend with a wedding on and didn't have any rooms available but we had dinner and I can say something: the food was the best I've ever eaten in a restaurant. So nice that we came back miles from where we sleep just to eat there again. And again it was impeccable. Village is amazing... More
