Nice room, modern decor, good amenities , central location, arrive early to guarantee a free car space , not enough spaces for every room , if the hotel is full. Everything in bourton on water is on your doorstep,

Perfect location in a lovely town. If you are traveling to the Cotswolds Bourton on the Water is a great place to stay. Rooms were nice, breakfast was very good and the staff was very friendly. Charming town,,,not to be missed.

When booking our family trip overseas (we are from Boston), I knew I wanted to be in Bourton-on-the-Water as the location in the Cotswolds is perfect. However, I couldn't decide where I wanted to stay. I finally settled on Chester House Hotel, and when we arrived I knew that it was the best choice. The staff were warm and inviting,...

We foolishly headed to the Cotswolds in November with no accommodation booked. Beautiful autumnal scenes. So lucky to get a last room here. Beyond grateful. And then to find we'd hit jackpot - this room was just what we were looking for. Not some impersonal chain hotel but a lovely family business. Quirky rooms...very individual...I loved ours. Cosy communal areas....

Lovely small hotel with very friendly staff. Stayed for 2 nights and had food in both restaurants. Food was excellent and the breakfast is fantastic. Ideal location in a beautiful village. Room was very good size and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again

When I arrived it was dark so couldn't appreciate how pretty this hotel is. Was greeted by a lovely lady who was extremely friendly. Because I was still waiting for my mum n sister she happily checked me in to both rooms. Gave me free wi fi password and pass for my car. Read other reviews of car park I...

The location of the hotel is perfect in the centre of Bourton on the Water. The rooms are very nice and spotlessly clean and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very good. Some things that could be better, firstly the car park is too small which is something they can do very little...

Really enjoyed our one night stay here in the Chester House hotel. Olde worlde, charm, just what you would expect. Good breakfast. Bit dated but maybe that's the charm! Would stay again....great location just walk out the door and you are in the village centre.

This is a lovely hotel, with great friendly, helpful staff. Situated centrally within the village and set back from the road. Lovely evening meal and breakfast. My girlfriend and I would happily stay again.

We stayed here in late September as two couples. It is a good hotel with good staff, a decent breakfast and a good location. Nothing at all to complain about and, we would certainly stay here again. Bourton-on-the-Water can be very crowded in the main season but late September was fine. A lovely spot.
