We were fortunate enough to have a large bedroom on the front of the building overlooking the water. Very large en-suite. Very comfortable bed. Food excellent. Staff courteous. The hotel dates back to 1748 so you do hear a few noises with the water pipeworks. Hotel is in an excellent location with 15 en-suite rooms and has an outside seating...

This is a lovely pub with a great atmosphere. The Sunday lunch though was awful. It was so bad I had to add a lot of salt to get some flavour! Very disappointed, as we've just moved to the area and are looking for good places to eat. Thankfully there are plenty more eateries to try.

We stayed for a cheap midweek break. We were in room 7 the bathroom was really small just a shower which would only open halfway as the sink was in the way. When we arrived the bathroom was dirty!!!! We went straight to reception but told that there were no more rooms available. The receptionist was very polite and apologetic...

We visited this hotel in December, with friends. When we arrived at around 5 in the afternoon, there was no parking in the car park, we managed to find a space on the road, but it came with a time limit. Our room was in the main building and our friends were staying in a building just around the corner...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Old Manse is a delightful English country inn overlooking the river Windrush, which flows gently through the centre of this picture-postcard Cotswold village. You can enjoy exploring this historic area of outstanding natural beauty with a stroll around the quaint little village of Bourton or simply curl up in front of a roaring log fire. Our rooms are all en-suite, where their size and layout do reflect the historic nature of our building, great for short stays and as a base to explore this beautiful location. Some of our rooms are located in the Old Manse Cottage, a short distance from the main building, but equally full of quirky features. A great selection of food and drink is available from our restaurant and bar. Guests should be aware that our car park is limited, however our team are always willing to assist guests with luggage and finding local alternate parking facilities. ... more   less
