I want to start by thanking all of the Staff for their fantastic hard work and care during our stay. From the moment I spoke to Deedee on the phone she put my mind at ease. My dad is very poorly at the moment, and the team took care of our every wish. Rooms were comfortable, we ate in the pub both nights and had some lovely food - and breakfast was not a disappointment either. Covid safe, lots of measures in place and adhered too. Great location, shame about the weather.. but we would definitely return to this lovely quaint hotel. Thank you all, my Dad Bert had a wonderful time.

We have been in October 2020. The place is beautiful and the staff is nice however the food was probably microwaved and the beer was watery, maybe just because of the COVID cut of staff and customers, a pity though....

Stayed for 4 nights early September. First time in the Cotswolds and some apprehension over the covid situation. The Duke is fantastic though, great systems in place, felt safe and the entire team were lovely as and helpful. They made us feel welcome and I couldn't fault the room, the food, the service or anything. Keep up the excellent work! We'll definitely be back.

Our party of four adults (plus one dog) ate here at lunchtime and we were impressed by how well they were managing Covid precautions, with temperature checks upon arrival, staff wearing masks and a one way system in place. The food menu, whilst limited at the moment, suited our needs and we all enjoyed our meals. We had called ahead to book a table, which was just as well as the town was heaving and those who had not booked in advance were queuing for tables. There was a bit of an issue with wasps inside the pub, which the very friendly and helpful member of staff on the door noted was a particular issue this year. But overall, we had a very positive experience here. I’d definitely recommend this pub as a nice, dog-friendly, Covid-secure place to eat in Bourton-on-the-Water.
