We stayed for one night at The Lansdowne but wished it could have been longer! Received a warm welcome with a very welcome mulled wine and mince pie. Very comfortable room with everything we needed there. The only thing missing was some hand wash but we used the body wash. Good variety of hot drinks available in our room as well as some snacks and a complementary bar!!! Our breakfast was served in a very nice dining room and there was plenty of everything available- excellent choice. Thank you, we will definitely come back and recommend to friends and family.

We stayed here for a weekend and it was superb. The staff couldn't do enough for their guests, they were so friendly. We were welcomed with a mince pie and mulled wine. It's in an ideal location, less than a minute's walk to the shops and great starting point for walks. The breakfast was delicious and very high quality. We would definitely come again.

What a fantastic mini break we had at The Lansdowne Guest House in Bourton-on-the -Water, one of our favourite places. On arrival we were met by CorrIne who made us feel very welcome and took us upstairs to our lovely room. On the bed were chocolate mints and a towel dog, and also a birthday cake made out of towels, as my husband was celebrating his birthday. Corrine bought us mulled wine and mince pies both of which were lovely. The bed was comfortable and the room warm and cosy, the en-suite bath room had lovely toiletries provided. Breakfast in the morning was very good, buffet of pastries, yoghurt, fruit and cereal with choices to fruit juices, water tea or coffee to drink. Full English, vegetarian options and toast as well as other options were available. Nothing was too much trouble. Brourton-on-the-Water is a fabulous place to visit with lots of unique shops, cafes and resultants . A beautiful stress free break for us both and I am sure we will be back to stay again. Thank you.

We stayed here for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary! From the start everyone was so helpful and friendly from Corrinne messaging to say our room was ready early to everyone serving breakfast. The rooms were lovely and comfortable and the hotel was ideally placed to explore Bourton On the Water. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choices. Thank you for our stay and we hope to be back.

A good bed and breakfast which is cosy, convenient and clean. Morning breakfast was always something to look forward to. Memorable stay that was wonderful and evokes good and pleasant memories. Thanks to Corrinne, Gemma and the team! While we did have a small heating and plumbing issue on our last night it was resolved expediently.

My husband and I booked to stay here for a mini break after our wedding. I contact the accommodation via phone to discuss which room was the best and they were really helpful advising me to add onto my booking the reason for our stay. We arrived an hour earlier than check in, but the house keeper kindly checked to see if our room was ready and it was. The room was amazing! We were in room 14 and it was spotlessly clean and even had towels made into swans with rose petals and chocolates. The mini fridge was stocked with some water, wine and diet cokes and there were crisps, chocolate and tea and coffee facilities. The shower was amazing and they provided shampoo and condition as well as shower gel and the whole room was warm (we had to sleep with the windows open as even without the radiators on it was still warm!). Breakfast was great, with a buffet style for continental and a wide range of options for cooked breakfasts. Corinne who was on breakfast the two mornings we stayed was great, remembering what we had planned for the day before and advising us on places to go and taking time to speak to all guests. The only slight issue we had was the handle breaking on our bedroom door meaning once out we couldn’t get in. Quick call to Gemma and she was there within 10 minutes trying to fix it and when she couldn’t Corrine arrived with her partner. They were unable to fix it but put a solution in for the evening and it was fixed by the time we got back the following afternoon. All in all we had a great ‘mini moon’ and the team couldn’t have done more or being more friendly! Would definitely recommend and we absolutely stay again if we were in the area!

I got off to a bad start here. I chose public transport and this facility informed me to simply take the 801 bus from Moreton-In-Marsh rail station. I arrived to find that the bus does NOT operate on Sundays so I paid a taxi 30 pounds instead of the usual 2 for the bus fare. Keep this in mind if you're not driving. The facility is lovely. I had room 10 on the top floor. Stairs can be a challenge to navigate so keep that in mind if mobility is an issue for you. Room was CLEAN will all the amenities. No face cloths in bathroom. Breakfast is from a set menu and I was not disappointed all three mornings. Go for the Full English. It is filling and will take you through most of the day.
