This was mine and my wife‘s second stay at The Mousetrap Inn and it did not disappoint. The spotless room , excellent food ,drink and service was as brilliant as we remembered. This is a true gem of a place,a few minutes walk to the centre of this beautiful village but just far enough out to avoid all the hustle and bustle.We...

I stayed here for two nights in September and thoroughly enjoyed my stay with my wife. We simply had a weekend away and went to Stow on the Wold walking the Saturday after arriving Friday evening (nice place but get back for the Hobbers - see tip 2 !!) We had one of the annexe rooms which was clean, quiet...

Thank you for writing a lovely review. I'm sorry that your bill was wrong and would encourage everyone to check their final bill before they leave. Mistakes do happen after all we are only human, but these mistakes would definitely be genuine as we are all honest hard working people and would never do this intensionally.

A beautiful traditional inn, we received a lovely welcome amd was shown to ours rooms. The inn does come across a bit rough round the edges but it has to be said the staff are welcoming and very friendly. The evening meals were a good size and tasted amazing. We able to come and go as we pleased. Ideally located...

It was a free house that did not appear to by very busy, but were completely full when we left. I recommend getting reservations. We had sausage and mash with Old Spot Sausages and fish and chips. Both were very good, with fresh ingredients. Nice selection of beers and priced well. Friendly, but busy wait staff. Very traditional looking pub....

Love the Mousetrap in what a bed and breakfast should be, lovely, comfy and cosy, nice and clean rooms, free parking, excellent breakfast, evening meals, real ales and a roaring fire for these cold nights. So close to everywhere you need to go. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the Costwolds you will, not be disappointed and...

We stayed 2 nights, staff were very welcoming and helpful when the sat nav died and we had to ask for directions. Rooms were clean and comfortable, it was so nice to be away from the centre of Bourton on the Water, which was so busy. We had dinner there on the Saturday night - excellent food and service also...

We just loved our stay at this quaint beautifully restored historical Inn in Bourton. The Landlord and all his staff were helpful and could not do enough for us. The rooms were comfortable clean and warm. The pub downstairs was never a problem with noise and served great food. The only criticism I would have. Would be that the pub...

We stayed 4 nights at the Mousetrap Inn. Our room was in the main part of the pub but it was very small and had 2 skylights rather than a window. The decor was tired and communal areas rather shabby and the shower very weak. Having said that the breakfast was very good, we had a meal there the first...

The Mousetrap Inn is a 5 min walk to the centre of Bourton-on-the-water which is a beautiful village with a river running through the centre, chocolate box pretty. We stayed for 2 nights mid week whist travelling round England on holiday. The room we stayed in was a chalet style room at the back of the Inn, not inside the...
