Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed at the hotel for a few days with family, we had 2 rooms. We have stayed at the hotel many times in the past. Firstly the front of house / reception staff were both friendly and extremely helpful they included Jack, Ella and Tash. The standard of cleanliness was very high and the ambiance of the hotel was one of friendly, welcoming and comfortable. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful time - Thank You!

We had a fantastic two night stay at the Queens hotel. The room was spacious and well maintained, with a very comfortable bed and cosy pillows and duvet. Yes, it was a little warm to start with, but we turned down the radiator and towel rail and it was very comfortable the second night. We stayed in a Superior Double on the top floor - there was no noise and we had a side view of the park - we were very happy with this. The hotel was quiet and spotlessly clean in all the corridors and lounges. A separate shout out to Georgia and Jack at reception for their recommendations and advice as well as for making us very welcome from the moment we stepped through the old style revolving door until the moment we drove out of the car park. We would definitely stay at this hotel again - and we don’t usually do this. Thanks for the lovely stay.

We were very impressed with every aspect of the hotel. Worth checking the deals as we got a great value package that included afternoon tea, which was very nice. Staff were very attentive, we opted for bottomless brunch and ever had to ask for a Prosecco top up. Rooms were spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Shower was excellent. Breakfast was made to order and staff couldn’t do enough for you. We will definitely be back!

Had a lovely stay with 3 of my oldest friends. We had a beautiful afternoon tea with attentive service. Later we had a drink in the bar which was nice and service was good. A comfy nights stay and a delicious breakfast. All the staff were fabulous.

Myself and my partner have just returned from a very enjoyable couple of days at the Queens Hotel. The hotel has a very welcoming, genteel feel about it. Its location is excellent which as the weather was not in our favour, was a blessing for getting to restaurants and coffee shops which were only a few minutes walk away. The hotel was very clean and our superior room was really comfortable. Dinner in the Victoria restaurant was very good. The food was beautifully presented and really enjoyable. Breakfast was also very good. There was a good offering for either a continental or cooked breakfast. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and professional. They all wanted to make sure that you were enjoying your visit to the hotel as well as to Cheltenham. Anya (in the bar) was brilliant - she had a lovely smile and made you feel welcome as soon as you walked into the bar. The only very minor criticism was that the room was a little too warm even after changing the settings on the aircon but in the grand scheme of things, being too cold would not have been good so overall, it was fine. We would have no hesitation in staying at the Queens again.
