Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fresh newly decorated, spacious, comfortable rooms, USB ports everywhere. Very clean thoughout, cleaning staff are very friendly and thorough, important to see smiling faces first thing in the morning. Management and reception staff friendly and welcoming. Quiet and good value, especially if you book ahead.

A faultless stay. Ian and the Team couldn't have been more helpful, nothing was a problem. Hotel was spotlessly clean, If I had to criticise anything it would be the customers standing outside the Entrance smoking (which for non smokers is unpleasant) highly recommended if you are in the area.

Perfect place for an overnight stop on our way to Wales.Very good value, especially as our dog was allowed to stay too. The room was spacious enough and very clean. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Stayed for 3 nights on 2nd floor for the races, the location was fine (cost £30 for taxi straight to racecourse), hotel clean and welcoming. Here comes the but… noisy/squeaky floor from above and doors slamming. The worst was that the bed was really uncomfortable and the heating couldn’t be switched off as the heater was locked when trying to change the temp so our sleep was disturbed the whole time.

An over priced for 2 nights during race week. We had an extra £10 to check in early on arrival that was not mentioned previously by reception. Towels not changed daily. You feel ripped off on race week !

I have to use Travelodges for work, this 1 has a large carpark and has their new style rooms, was amazingly quiet and peaceful l, I've stayed in a couple around the area and this seems to be 1 of the best, definitely would stay here again. The pub next door is not great and would suggest going into town to eat as the hotel doesn't have its own restaurant.

We arrived before check in time, it went were allowed to go straight in, which was lovely after a 2 and a 1/2 hour journey. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Throughout our stay, I only encountered polite and friendly staff. The room was warm and bright and everything was clean and new. The bed was clean and comfortable and nighttime was quiet, apart from a little traffic ( not your problem though)

I stayed for a business trip. The hotel is looking a bit tired and isn’t the cleanest and smelled of smoke although the room cleanliness was acceptable. My room was opposite the main road and the traffic noise seemed to get amplified in the room so I didn’t get a good nights sleep. Won’t be staying again.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic, it's near an Asda, a Harvester and a KFC. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the staff are very friendly and efficient. I must give a special mention to Ollie and Chris, two of the most wonderful, courteous and professional gentlemen, when I arrived after a stressful train journey, they did their utmost to put me at my ease, answered all my questions and got me all sorted in no time. These gentlemen are shining examples of what excellent customer service is.
