Absolutely perfect place to stay for a long weekend. The room was beautiful, the bathroom was large and well appointed. The breakfast was good. The staff were all brilliant. Great location for us - a 15 minute walk into town. Highly recommended.

The Cotswold Grange hotel is a lovely, friendly hotel with easyparking. Our room was comfortable with a super shower. We had a wonderful view from the back across the hills. Our family group had both continental and full English breakfasts. Served well, presented well and very tasty! Pittville park is so close and we had food there and a stroll! Central Cheltenham is well within walking distance and we loved it! A most relaxing trip!

We reserved the last room , a large family room, as it was a late booking during the Literary Festival, it was at a reasonable price compared with other city centre hotels for our 2 night stay. We arrived from the train station very early and checked in and left our luggage before we took a walk into town. The reception staff were very helpful, made us welcome The room was spacious, comfortable and well furnished, very comfortable super king bed. You just needed to be fit as it was situated on the second floor without any lift , Bathroom had both bath and shower , very modern and recently refurbished from the look of it. Only negative was the lack of a good light over the basin mirror , otherwise nice quality towels and it was lovely and warm as they had put the central heating on as the first cold night of the year coincided with our visit. The Breakfast room was light and airy, we pre booked our breakfasts, not a problem for us and we had more than enough choice , both mornings we ate very well and couldn’t fault them. Used taxis 3 or 4 times to go out for the days activities and to eat dinner, they were very reasonable in price and arrived promptly. We would stay again, especially as they had parking and are dog friendly so we can bring our dog next visit

This is an excellent hotel for a stay in Cheltenham. It is a 25 to 30 minute flat walk to the town centre, which for us was not an issue but worth bearing in mind if that is a concern. As for the hotel itself we had room 3 with a comfortable 4-poster bed, stand alone bath and walk in shower. There was adequate storage and hanging space for our things. The english breakfast set me up for the day and was freshly cooked although you do need to order the evening before. There were plenty of alternatives including fruit juice and as much toast as you want. The service was excellent throughout. There is a bar although it can close quite early. Parking in Cheltenham can be challenging but the hotel has plenty of space so that was not an issue. All in all we would recommend Cheltenham Grange and will certainly rebook next time we are in Cheltenham.

My wife and I spent four nights here on 10th September and loved it! The hotel is set in a quiet, leafy street about a 10 to 15 walk from the town centre where you can find plenty of pubs and resturants as well as shops and easy access to bus stops if you want to explore futher without having to drive. Also, within a 5 minute walk is the beautiful Pitville park with it's lakes and cafe's.The hotel itself is a beautiful old building however, very modern, clean, light and airy and tastefully decorated inside. We had a luxury, top floor room which has a very comfortable queen size bed,en suite with bath and large walk-in shower. We heard no noise at all from other rooms so coupled with the lovely bed,we slept soundly. There is a good choice for breakfast,I had the full english which is cooked fresh and was served hot. you need to give your breakfast order the night before but it is no problem, breakfast is served 07.30 - 09.30. All of the staff are very friendly, polite and helpful and your room is cleaned daily. Unfortunately,if you have mobility issues,it might not be for you as there is no lift and I beleive the main entrance is by steps only but you might want to check on that. Car parking is ample as there are 19 spaces covering 15 rooms and if you want to arrive earlier than the 3 o'clock room availabilty, they are happy for you to leave your car so you can go and explore and make an extra day of it,just give them your reg.no. Overall,I would highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for peace, quite, relaxation and excellent customer service - we shall definately be returning!!

Pleasant hotel in Cheltenham for our visit to the Cotswolds this year. Clean rooms with smart bathrooms. Breakfast in a quaint dining room. Service at breakfast a bit hit and miss with things being forgotten and silly excuses as to why. Adequate for the price I guess in this day and age. On a good not the hotel manager was extremely helpful with booking taxis and advice placed of interest.

Lovely character hotel. Beautiful decor. We visited twice, travelling to & from Devon, both one night stays. Both stays we had lovely clean rooms, although the lighting was a bit dim. Bathrooms were beautiful. Great location, easy walk to The Brewery Quater, where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Breakfast not included unless you book direct with the hotel. We were happy with our continental choice. Hotel has a large free car park.

This was honestly the nicest stay that I have had, certainly in the UK. Stayed for 2 nights with my girlfriend as we were watching coldplay in Cardiff but didn't want to pay the silly prices charged by the hotels during big events. So, I looked around and came across Cotswold Grange. The price I paid was very reasonable, probably due to our stay being midweek. I had initially booked through booking.com but later cancelled this and booked directly with the hotel. Whilst this can be cheaper for customers, it also helps these hotels avoid costs incurred from booking.com, so I advise you to explore this option. Anyway, I digress. The building itself is beautiful, I think it's Georgian but am not sure. The staff are a credit to the hotel, being really friendly and helpful. They assumed that we would be arriving back at the hotel late at night due to the concert, and this was no problem at all. The room we stayed in was a perfect balance between modern and traditional, for us at least. The bed was super comfy, usually I stir a lot but I think I fell asleep as soon as my head touched the pillow. The bathroom was really modern and my towel could probably be used as a duvet it was that big (I'm just exaggerating). Breakfast is a big deal for me (as my girlfriend knows,) and it was really tasty and presented to a high standard. The breakfast/dining room was also really classy. Parking was easy, right outside the building. Only a short walk to the centre so can't fault the location either. I would definitely stay again and would like to thank all the staff for making my girlfriend's birthday enjoyable. Oh.. and Coldplay were also unbelievable.

Having had very satisfactory stays here in the past I was pleased to find, now we have a dog, that he would also be welcome. Our room was downstairs, we opted for a king double, very large with a bathroom with both bath and separate shower, so plenty of room for the three of us. The bed was comfortable. The only very small niggle was the size of the television, rather small for such a grand room . We had breakfast in the bar area, dogs not being allowed into the breakfast room. Each day we chose a time and what we wanted for breakfast the day before, sampling both full English and smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on different days. All staff members were friendly and helpful, we look forward to a return trip.
