Perfectly placed for some great bike rides and a great venue to have a socially distance meet-up. A really friendly and helpful reception and help throughout, the breakfast baps were outstanding too! The facilities were really well maintained and cleaned and adhered to social distancing so we felt very safe using them. Would highly recommend!

We decided to give camping a go, and found this great campsite on the internet. It wasn't too far from home, had a flat field and a toilet and shower.

The hosts are fabulous and make the effort to come and see everything is okay and they even took our two children on a tractor ride in the evenings!

The facilities are clean and stayed that way - we had great weather when we were there so we got lucky. They are currently building a large shower and toilet block which should be ready to use in July 21.

I would highly recommend this campsite to all - we had so much space and enjoyed our trip. We also purchased sausages and bacon from the farm owners to cook - so that saved us bringing lots of food.

We visited Tewkesbury Abbey and surrounding walks one day and also a lovely pub nearby called the House in the Tree.

We would love to come back again as it was such a lovely camp trip.

We stayed here for 6 nights and the owners were so welcoming and friendly, the field was large with plenty of space between pitches (choose your own), the two toilets and shower were regularly cleaned and spotless.
The field was nice and flat, well draining and with lovely sunsets.
The kids loved the tractor rides around the farm and seeing the animals.
A great location for getting out and about and exploring the area, and reasonably priced too.

A lovely place to stay! A large flat field with plenty of space around you on your pitch. Ruth was very welcoming and friendly. The toilets and shower block were absolutely spotless, plenty of toilet rolls, sanitary products and each toilet had an air freshener. Great disabled showering facilities with everything you could want. Superb little cafe on site selling bacon buttys, hot and cold drinks, ice creams etc at very reasonable prices. Fire pits to hire are a good idea and a tractor ride around the field gave an extra touch especially Ruth going out of her way to make sure our disabled daughter could have a turn too always stopping to give her time to chat.

Great campsite. Ruth was very welcoming, lovely flat pitch, and our family was able to camp next to my sister and her family. The toilet and shower block are lovely and clean, with some lovely touches including a step my 4 year old could stand on to reach the sink and sanitary products in the ladies in case you get caught out. There was a clean room for washing up, and a washing machine. The kids loved the evening tractor ride too. I was concerned being on a farm the animals might be noisy, but we hardly heard them. The campsite is easy to find and has a small cafe onsite, and there are supermarkets within 10 minutes drive. Easy to get to Gloucester, Cheltenham and Tewkesbury. We hope to be back and would absolutely recommend.

We stayed for a week at here whilst visiting Cheltenham Science Festival with our 2 children (home Ed) The site is on a working farm tucked away up a single track road so is very peaceful. It’s a large field so plenty of space for your pitch and to play games with the kids. Some pitches do have EHU but most do not, we decided to go off grid and were fine running off battery/solar. There are male/female/accessible and gender neutral toilets and showers in a modern and clean building at one end of the field. There is also a washing room with free to use washing machine which was handy for us with the length of our stay. There is a small cafe on site where you can purchase drinks, ice cream, bacon sandwiches etc and bbq meat packs (we had our own so didn’t try these). Unusually there are no restrictions on fire pits or BBQs here. The site was very quiet at night with no noise from any other campers, even when it was much busier over the weekend. The owners are very welcoming and at the weekend provided tractor rides for the kids which they loved, and also provided us a list of other things to do locally. There are lots of public footpaths accessible nearby so our dog got to explore too.

Other useful info. We have a motorhome and there is a fresh water tap accessible from the main building, a 10m hose will reach fine. Whilst there isn’t a motorhome service point, the owners were happy for us to empty any grey waste into the field away from any pitches, and there is an Elsan point for any black waste. There is also an EV charging point on the field with capacity for 2 cars.

All in all we very much enjoyed our stay and will be back if we are visiting the area again.

Such very friendly folk run this perfect campsite. Huge flat field with Malvern hills in the distance. Great value for money - 20 pounds for a pitch for 2 included a firedrum and a massive bag of wood. Toilet block was spotless. Lovely pub just down the road. Winner - we will be back!

We visit Elmwicke regularly but I must say the new toilet/ shower facilities made our most recently stay even better. The brand new block offers free showers and plenty of room to change and get ready for the day. The complimentary sanitary products are also a great addition for campers who might find themselves in need! There is also a gender neutral toilet which is great to see!

We have just enjoyed two nights at Elmwicke and had a brilliant time. Ruth and family worked tirelessly to keep the toilets spotless and covid-safe. We had a free tractor-trailer ride around the farm which made my son's day, and the tractor carefully picked up each family one at a time to enable social distancing. Firewood and firepits also arrived by tractor, and Ruth even delivered an owl pellet and gloves for my son to investigate. The field is huge and as flat as a pancake. All in all, highly recommended, in pandemic times and otherwise.

A warm welcome from the farms family on our arrival, plenty of room to pitch on the level camping field, some EHU available.

The facilities block is modern and very clean, it includes a family room, disabled facilities and even a gender neutral room. There is also a café in the reception serving breakfast rolls and fresh coffee and hot drinks. Not to mention some farm meats and ice creams. Wood is also available for the fire pits.

It’s ideally situated for exploring the Cotswolds and surrounding towns and cities such as historic Tewksbury and Gloucester.

They definitely allow one night stays, as for the dog I'm not sure. I've never seen other dogs on site but the owners do have a small dog that runs around the field. It's probably best to email ahead. Grace X
