Rooms are OK.No rooms on main floor so climbing a steep flight of stairs was challenging for my husband who has a bad hip.We opted to eat at local restaurants for breakfast to try as many tea rooms while there. There is a pub on the main floor which can be lively.People from the US need to know that rooms... More

This is the first pub you come to walking from the Caravan Club site. We had a meal here and the food was good. Real ale was good as well. Service we found was very good, did not have to wait to be served. It was the same the second time we tried it although only for a drink the... More

I called in this pub while staying at a nearby caravan site. I used the bar that had 2 tv's showing different sports programmes. I waited over 5 minutes to be served for a first pint, even though there was a young female behind the bar who made no attempt to serve. I also asked to purchase a pack of... More

We had a very indifferent meal, with a majority of the food fried! Adaequate but not value for money. Gin and tonic was expensive and had run out of choice of gin Service was ok but,we would not choose to go there again.

Dropped by at 5pm on a Sunday, we were grateful to be still able to get a Sunday lunch which was beef. Decent meal but slightly over priced. Friendly barman, bar area and restaurant needs a good decorate but pleasant enough

I'll get back to the Swan Inn review in a moment. But, I think it's important to understand that our choice of location was based quite a bit on limitations of public transportation in the Cotswolds. If you simply want some opinion/insight on The Swan Inn including a family warning, jump to the bottom... We chose to stay in Moreton-In-Marsh... More

This inn is ideally located for a tour of the Cotswolds, offering good prices for comfortable rooms. The staff/owners are friendly. Don't expect hotel services from this family-run inn. My request to have a boarding pass printed took some time and extra negotiation. Most guests must be domestic. The inn faces a rather busy street though traffic peters off after... More

Basic accommodation in a not so upmarket pub. Rooms could have been cleaner. Breakfast was OK and the location is good. The price would be fair at about half of what we paid. Most of the staff fairly friendly, barman a bit of a misery.
