Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely accommodation and delicious food. Bottled water and carafe of sherry in room on arrival. All staff so friendly and helpful, will definitely return . Free parking available, and cosy bar for drinks.

Lovely pleasant clean and comfortable with very nice food, definitely worth staying. It was an exceptionally cold night and the hotel was a pleasure to stay in very warm. Evening meal and breakfast were very good.

This is a great hotel. I was very impressed by the excellent rooms and the helpful staff. The breakfast was plentiful. The location is good too. What more could you ask for from a hotel? The only let down was the quality of the coffee at breakfast which is a shame as there was good quality coffee in the room.

. Great location in the centre of the town. Varied choices for breakfast which was excellent. Poor welcome on arrival. Convenient parking. Complete with charging points. The courtyard rooms are more like a motel with vehicles parked right in front of the rooms.

We stayed in a courtyard room for 2 nights. The room was an adequate size, warm with a comfortable bed and everything we needed. The breakfast was very good, an extensive choice of food and good service. On our first night we ate in the bar which had a lovely log fire and although it was busy it was comfortable and the service was good, second night we ate in the restaurant which was also comfortable and had excellent service, food was very good on both nights. Hotel is in the middle of the town so well placed to walk around, the car park is a bit tight but we found a space on both days. I would recommend this hotel.

Our third visit to the Redesdale and second time staying as hotel guests. We were allocated one of the newly refurbished rooms ( room 43 ) which was superb. Fitted out to a high standard, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, good shower, good free wifi. All of the essentials were there and plenty more. We booked directly with the hotel on a dinner, bed and breakfast package which was really excellent value. The food and drink are superb, and the staff are attentive and pleasant. We look forward to returning again in 2024.

Very enjoyable overnighter. Lovely room in the courtyard. Evening meal chosen was the Sunday lunch - really good and generous portion. Good breakfast Monday morning. Staff were excellent and made the effort. Highly recommended and I have re-booked.

Moreton in Marsh is great for walking with the local buses so convenient. The Redesdale Arms is a great hotel with an excellent bar and superb food. We have stayed there many times and it gets better every time.

What a great place. Greeted with warmth and shown to a cosy well equipped room, even complimentary sherry !! Coffee, pod machine and kettle. The breakfast in the morning was excellent with a great choice, which included gluten-free cereal and cooked gluten-free and also offered fresh fruit and juices. Great value for money and location, right in the heart of the village
