From start to finish The Crestow House was amazing. We received a welcome email prior to our trip and were greeted at the door by Kevin when we arrived. He gave us a tour of the beautiful house and showed us to our room. There is a long drive leading to a parking area in front of the house. When entering there is an instant cozy comfort. To your left a sitting room with leather sofas and a fire in the fire place continue through to the breakfast area in a sun room. To your right another comfy sitting room/library with a fireplace. Straight back to the private bar and through to the outdoor porch and pool. Kevin told us there had been a cancellation so he upgraded our room and WOW it was amazing! Room 4 is the middle window on the left looking at the front of the house. The room was huge and so well appointed with very high ceilings . Large comfy bed with crisp linens, a sitting area with two chairs, a large TV, desk and chair, dresser, wardrobe with slippers and robes, 2 large windows, cushy carpet, bathroom was also large and elegant with a window, bench, towel warmer, large pedestal sink and large shower with SIX shower heads. Everything was top notch. It was such a quiet and peaceful stay. We only stayed 1 night in February and did not have breakfast. We would absolutely recommend this house and hope to go back in the Spring or Summer to enjoy the beautiful grounds with porch and pool. Quite possibly the most lovely place we have stayed!…
Lovely, charming hotel very considered interior design. Our room was extremely comfortable, and my boyfriend would have loved to live there if he could. If you are looking for a quieter room, make sure you book a room away from the road. I highly recommend the hotel. The only potential area we could think to improve would be the breakfast which was nice but nothing mind-blowing.
Stayed two nights whilst travelling in the area. Delightful setting, a warm welcome from our host Rasa. The warm fire in the lounge is great to come home to. Good choice and quality at breakfast, thoroughly recommended
Came here with my girlfriend and it was absolutely perfect. Hotel manager Rasa was a brilliant and very friendly host. The room was sublime and the interior design of the whole hotel was spot on. I ate the best breakfast I have ever had (eggs royale) and the bar was well stocked with lots of variety. Definitely will stay here again
Beautiful property that was exactly like the pictures might suggest (which sometimes isn't the case as we all know!). Great couple running the place and very helpful even leading up to our stay with restaurant bookings and tips on getting around the Cotswolds with prompt responses. Very relaxing stay but only steps away from town so it was truly the best of both. The details of the room from the furnishings to the care they took was top notch up there with the finest 5-star hotels. Included breakfast was delicious. Very pleased and will look forward to staying there again for our next Cotswolds stay.
Raisa and Kevin are the perfect hosts for this amazing retreat. Excellent room, lovely breakfast and bar as well public rooms to relax and enjoy the art collection. There is no prettier town in the Cotswolds than Stow-on-the-Wold. It’s the perfect hub for launching day trips in the area
This was our second stay at the Crestow, and it was just perfect. Our room was wonderful. All of the details are so well thought out. Everything is luxurious...the bedding, the towels. Breakfast is so delicious...make sure to try the daily smoothie! The hotel is right on the edge of town, so the location is great. There are some great hiking trails nearby, you can get a guide in the local library. My husband loved the scotch and cigar selection. It was chilly at night, but they have the BEST blankets ever that you can use to sit on the porch at night. Kevin and Rasa are just the nicest hosts, even helping us find the pharmacist when I wasn't feeling well. Absolutely a perfect stay, and I truly hope we can come back again someday!
Crestow House is exceptional in every way! Clean, comfortable, well-apportioned rooms. Beautiful grounds and common areas. Superb breakfast. Outstanding location and proximity to Cotswolds attractions. Best of all, the service from Rasa and her team is fantastic!
We stayed here as our first stop on Cotswold Walks - an 8 day country hike. It rained like crazy on our first day. We arrived tired and soaked and were met at the gate by the charming and incredibly welcoming hostess and led into Crestow House itself - immaculately decorated. The grounds are beautiful, and our room was the best of our hike - and there were some very nice rooms along the way. It's perhaps a three-minute walk from the tourist area, so it's quiet. Breakfast was the perfect way to start the next day and the next leg of our journey. It's luxurious, but, man, was it appreciated. I recommend it highly.
Nestled in Stow on the Wold is this little Gem and if you are visiting the Cotswolds Crestow House is a must . Crestow House takes luxury to another level !The attention to detail through out the Hotel is exquisite. Kevin and his small team could of not done more to make our stay more perfect.
