When we arrived, we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who advised the only free tables were outside, as we were only drinking this was not an issue to us. What I thought was really thoughtful service is when a table and sofa freed up upstairs, the same staff member came to let us know so we were able to move inside. When we were seated upstairs we were greeted by another staff member, again who was very friendly. We wanted to order a bottle of Verve champagne (that was on display) however we were told it was just that, only display, this seemed a bit surprising to display something you don’t actually sell. We then requested an alternative bottle of Champagne, only to then be told that had sold out! We settled for Prosecco. Although the service itself was great, they really did miss out on sales here. Still would recommend a visit based on service alone.

Stayed here for 2 nights in one of the cottage rooms (room number 1) On arrival - there is parking at the rear of the building The colleague on reception was really welcoming on arrival, nothing was to much trouble and explained all the information regarding the room, breakfast, etc The room itself was fantastic, the room we were allocated had a mez floor with a sofa and TV, really nice area to chill out and the room was spotless. Hotel is based in the market square and is the perfect location for exploring the area Breakfast was really good quality and service was excellent, we also had an a meal on the first night which was also really good and again the service was excellent. Overall - great hotel in the perfect location, really friendly staff who make you feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble if there is a problem - highly recommend this hotel.

The Kings Arms is in a perfect location to explore the local area. Both breakfast and evening meal at The Kings Arms is superb. Service from all staff was great and very welcoming. Parking at the rear of the pub for guests however if its full there is free parking from 6pm in the square. Would highly recommend.

We have just returned from one night’s stay at this picturesque hotel which is very conveniently located. Our room was situated on the first floor and was very spacious. It had all the homely amenities. Everything was very clean. Staff were extremely helpful and in particular Chris, who made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was included in our stay and the lady who served us was so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you for a great stay in beautiful Stow on the Wold
