Reception helpful. Food for breakfast was lovely - good quality food done well. Room was delightful but the counterpane on bed was so grubby. Needed sprucing up. Bathroom was fine. Style wasnt modern. Comfy beds - great nights sleep.Lovely view form bedroom window. Area was beautiful - lots to do. Wedding going on so we felt a bit pushed out...

Just spent a Sublime Sunday at the Hare and Hounds with my family and our two dogs and had such a lovely time . The staff are so welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble from the moment we arrived till we left. We have stayed at two other hotels in this group in Burford and the standards...

Had a great weekend. Amazing room in the ground floor called Beech. So comfortable and nice touch with the Molten Brown products. Dogs in the bar with us the whole time and staff really fussed them. Food was lovely although think the sandwiches were a little over priced but still tasty. Evening meals delicious and fab brekkie!! Dogs had sausages....

We spent two nights here and it wasn't long enough. This hotel manages to balance luxury and comfort without being pretentious. Staff were helpful and friendly. Food was great, with the option of fine dining or less formal pub style meals. We loved our time here and hope to return.

Here for an annual work event. It's a lovely smaller personal hotel and like coming here. My room this year (3) was far smaller than last year but maybe it was less money too. Still very comfortable good wifi tons of Molton Brown etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had an excellent veggie dinner , really excellent...

It was part of my birthday present from my family and included a voucher for Cotswold Hotels; as this one was the closet with parking and some good reviews we booked it. We were not disappointed as a lovely hotel; We had lunch in the bar with a bottle of wine as it served...

Following the huge refurbishment programme undertaken by the hotel I returned to see if anything had changed. I was delighted to see that non of the previous character had been lost. The furniture and light fittings in the lounge had been upgraded. Not too sure about the wooden low level lights over the tables in the lounge, but the furniture...

Stayed here for a wedding. Arrived Friday night having travelled from London. The only hiccup over the entire weekend was the first room they gave us. We were is Chestnut (room 71?) in Silkwood Court. Nice sized, terrace, lovely bed, etc. until we went to sleep. For some reason the boiler room next door resonated in the same place as...

We stayed here with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. Good food, roomy and comfortable bedroom and a great breakfast made this a memorable stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are in the area or are looking for a weekend break in the country side.
