We stayed here en route to Bristol for a business meeting and arrived at our meeting fully rested. Lovely little hotel - comfortable, clean, cosy and friendly. Good food and good service. The only issue was parking - we had to use a public car park up the road.

Visiting family nearby, wanted to see Westonbirt Arboretum so booked here. Glad we did as really enjoyed our stay. Quirky and comfortable hotel. Breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal. Room was on top floor, it was fine, other rooms overlooking the main road could well suffer from traffic noise. Parking in the street was OK, restricted to 1...

We were a little apprehensive after reading some reviews on here, but we had a great stay, nice big warm room and bathroom on first floor, good quality breakfast with plenty of choice. Also a very friendly cosy lounge bar for drinks. Ideally located in centre of town for restaurants and shops etc, no car parking issues as after a...

We enjoyed our two night stay in this traditional cosy hotel. Room was quite small but comfortable with a large bathroom in an interesting very old building. Room was clean enough but of course its difficult to keep these really old hotels sparkling without a full refurb. An excellent breakfast was cooked to order and served at the table in...

We had a small office party here a while ago. The food was excellent (I still dream of the venison and cranberry pie) and the staff were attentive. Good selection from the bar and a cosy, friendly atmosphere. Been a few times since for some drinks after work; again nice and friendly, but could it is a small bar area...

this hotel was picked due to its location near Westonbirt arboretum. The first surprise was it had no car park and upon calling the hotel for help we were told that there was 1 hour parking on the road and to find a car park after that (in broken english) - great start. So having parked on the road we...

Great value and nice food here, I would have given this an excellent if they had a few more staff on, there was too much hanging about to get served and one guy spent a good 5 mins on the phone while we stood waiting to pay. Others no where to be seen, the food was excellent here though so...

We booked a standard room for 3 nights on a half board basis celebrating our a Wedding Anniversay. We were very pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of our room which would be better described as a suite. Quirky design, think purple and mirrors. Very comfortable bed and good size TV which could be adjusted for viewing in bed...

Old coaching inn in the centre of Tetbury. Despite some of the poor reviews on TripAdvisor we had a great experince. A well appointed and modern bedroom and a very good breakfast. Reception staff were helpful and polite. It is an old building so be prepared for its idiosyncracies: convoluted corridors leading to the accomodation, no lift, a reception that...

We stayed for one night dinner, bed and breakfast and had a premier room which was nice and spacious and in good order, with a firm but comfy bed. The evening meal was very nice. The menu offers a choice of six starters, mains and puddings plus pizza. My wife had halibut fillet and I had crispy duck salad followed...
