Apologies for the delay in writing after my visit in May 2016 - I stayed for 4 nights whilst the Winchcombe Walkers Are Welcome Festival was on (this is an annual event and very popular and well organised) - I did not realise that they were on trip advisor otherwise I would have done this earlier Sarah, Ian and their... 3 of us stayed 2 nights in July 2016. When we asked for fresh towels for the second night, we got a towel with brown smudges on it and discolored areas, and it smelled of cat urine. I have cats, and I know what cat urine smells like. The underside of the bath mat in the upstairs shared bathroom was... More

Hello - many thanks for your feedback which we take on board. We are sorry your stay was not as enjoyable as you had hoped and had these points been mentioned at the time of your stay and not a few months later via trip advisor we could have reviewed and rectified anything "in the moment". That said here is... More

Clean, quiet, warm, comfy, safe, central, and reasonably priced, what's not to like? All special requests dealt with efficiently, and with good grace. Cooked breakfasts all looked good/great, although I don't eat cooked breakfasts, I was well catered for. Functioning WiFi. Hope they will have me next year.

Good room, friendly and very trusting hosts, lovely dining room, great location. Breakfast was very nice and plentiful, which included butcher's sausages which suggests previous feedback has been heeded.

I have to be honest here and say that we felt decidedly unwelcombed at Blair House. We thought the scrambled egg (special ) didn't sound very special so we opted for the full English, but had the temerity to ask for two eggs which was met with expressed disbelief. We were duly rewarded by having them cooked solid. I didn't think... More

Dear Terry, many thanks for your posting and your feedback. We are sorry you felt unwelcomed at Blair House, this is not something we hear very often from our guests. In response to your comments.. We do not source Wall's sausages, in fact we buy various brands of sausages to complement our Full English breakfast but never Wall's. As to... More

Sarah and Ian are rightfully proud of their home. We felt welcome even though we arrived before the official check-in time. Sarah's "special" breakfast was indeed special. Clean en-suite, friendly hosts, quiet location all add up to comfortable stay for our one-night stop along the Cotswold Way.

We stayed over for one night during a Cotswold walking holiday. The house is very easy to find - being about 400 metres from the Tourist Information Centre. The room we had was very comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast.

Lovely, welcoming owners. Immaculate house, calm and quiet. Even the dogs don't bark! Easily found, very convenient being only a short walk from the library. Lovely breakfast of freshly scrambled eggs and mushrooms, bacon and fresh tomato. Just go there you will be happy you did.

We spent one night here, I'm struggling to find words really, the landlady shared her life-story with us before giving her opinion that Americans are thick and announcing that breakfast was at 8.30, as she was having her hair done the next morning. We reluctantly accepted this timing, and during breakfast- which was adequate- were enjoying the company of the... More
