Had several very good meals here and they did a fabulous job catering our wedding at the nearby Sudeley castle. Many of our guests stayed at the Hotel and all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Would highly recommend.

Once again refined to the Wesley House, a well judged and flavoursome meal was had by all. Small tasty starters. The game was excellent. Good desserts too. Lovely to find a reliable, consistent restaurant that always delivers.

Normally we avoid hotels, but this one was actually okay. Our room was rather small, with a balcony that awkwardly overlooks the hotel’s restaurant through their glass ceiling. The bathroom was miniature and needed some upkeep and better cleaning. Our greeting host, Michael, was extremely welcoming and helpful. The hotel actually has two restaurants, one with expensive menus, and one... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in August 2016 and our first night fortunately coincided with the restaurant's weekly tasting menu which was very, very good indeed. The service from all the staff was very committed and friendly. The restaurant does not aspire to the Michelin-starred cuisine on offer around the corner at No 5, but it was nonetheless high... We stayed her on our third night walking the Cotswold way. If you like old this is the place for you. The room overlooking the front was very small and the bathroom seems to have been built in front of the fireplace. The rest of the establishment lacks a bit of soul. I don't think it knows if it is... More

The experience was a bit mixed. SOme of our service was excellent, notably breakfast and lunch, the breakfast was excellent food. Lunch was good, the room was ok. We were in Stechley and the room was cramped and dark. the shower was an electric shower which was sufficient but not great. the building is lovely and the young staff were... More

We stayed for two nights as we were attending a wedding. The room was charmingly small, but to be expected giving the age and character of the building and town. If you want genuine Cotswolds then this hotel is for you. I was most impressed with the helpfulness of the staff. They even kept the breakfast service going later than... More

A gorgeous period building in this charming large village. The staff were welcoming, and the room, though compact, was delightful. We appreciated the extra touches, such as fresh milk and fruit being available. My only criticism is that perhaps the mattress needs changing, we found it a little lumpy. Breakfast was great. I would stay again.

We stayed here on the last night of our Cotswold Way walk and could not have been a better place to stay. We were in the 'Almsbury' double room with a private terrace with lovely views. The staff were very friendly & breakfast was excellent. Great value for money and would definitely stay again.

This is a delayed review, I think we stayed at Wesley House at the beginning of the year. We went for a set meal and wine tasting which was excellent. The room looked magical with gorgeous branches with lights on. The food was delicious and the person who gave the talk on the wines was entertaining and interesting. Our room... More
