A small intimate Hotel with 8 bedrooms. I can only speak for the bedroom we had but it was lovely and in keeping with the rest of the Hotel. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and I can say that the food was delicious. Winchcombe is a small Cotswold Village but was lovely to have a little walk...

Had lunch on Saturday at the White Hart, food was very good, waited quite a long time after ordering although it seemed quite quiet. We felt that the service was a bit chaotic, 2 lads standing around chatting and hiding away from working, whilst the one lady did all the meeting & greeting.

Set right on the high street this friendly pub has recently refurbished its rooms. The room we stayed in was light and welcoming with king sized bed and lovely shower room. Overlooking the high street with a bay window that gave a view up and down the high street. Traffic didnt bother us but might some people - if thats...

Definitely one of the best Travel Zoo offers. Lovely place to stay, large clean room at the back. Very friendly staff and good quality food . Breakfast, large selection and plenty of it. Would definitely return ( even without offer) as looks like a good base stay for a walking weekend.

I meet friends here regularly for lunch and I have never failed to have a decent one! Food is always fresh and the prices are reasonable - unlike some places in Winchcombe. Their coffee is the best and almost the cheapest in Winchcombe too!

We had a deal from Travel Zoo for dinner, bed and breakfast. The room was a good size with a nice bathroom and king-size bed. The room overlooked the main road and shops there was a little bit of traffic noise but not enough to be detrimental to our sleep as Winchcombe is a quiet place. The food is good...

We visited last week on the dinner bed and breakfast deal bought for us as a gift and our experience was very different to the previous review by Adrienne6 and we had a very enjoyable visit. Our room was very spacious with a huge bed, and was very clean and looked freshly decorated. The only slight disappointment was that there...

We go the races regularly and usually stay at Wesley House but left it too late to book in November so stayed here. On arrival the bar/restaurant was busy with a great buzzy atmostphere and all looked good until we saw our room. The stairs/hallway were something akin to a derelict house and the room fared no better. It was...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Eat, drink and flop in historic Winchcombe. To some it's a pub, others a hotel. Situated at the heart of the village of Winchcombe near Cheltenham, this ‘restaurant with rooms’ (there are 11) offers the very best of British food and an excellent wine list. Visit the wine shop and try the famous sausages in the Wine & Sausage eating rooms. A perfect place to visit or stay if you love walking or visiting Cheltenham races. Each of the 8 en-suite rooms are individually styled and some have feature beds. In the Wine & Sausage eating rooms located on the inns ground floor they are passionate about real food, the great and simple British dishes that we grew up with. Ingredients are carefully sourced and wherever possible use local and regional farmers, growers, fishermen, producers, brewers and even winemakers. Just a few metres away from the inn you will find the scenic Cotswold Way and Gloucestershire Way footpaths. The Inn is also very popular with cyclists and can help with routes around the area, especially via one or two other 'watering holes'. There's even a hosepipe for washing down muddy bikes. Winchcombe is an idyllic base for touring the Cotswolds and the White Hart is the perfect bolt hole close to the famous sporting and cultural festival town of Cheltenham. ... more   less
