We stayed for one night, the food is lovely, dinner and breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable, no noise from other rooms or the bar downstairs. The location is great, in the centre of the village. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, we would stay here again if visiting the area.
Lunch - excellent quality food, fish finger roll was amazing and chips were incredible, great service, lovely decor. Highly recommend 10/10. Lovely area to visit during a day out on the steam train from Broadway to Cheltenham Race Course.
we have been walking the cotswold way and so eating at a different place every night. the white hart inn was a lovely surprise. great service, lovely menu, and tasty cuisine. win win. we didn't book a table, but they were able to fit us in during a busy evening.
My wife and I stayed for one night with a cream tea, dinner and breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. We particularly appreciated the receptionist taking us and our case to our bedroom and a waitress offering to move us from the main bar area to a quieter room for dinner. The bedroom was well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. There was a good choice of food at dinner and breakfast and all meals were of good quality. The property is well located for walks around the village and to Sudeley Castle.
We enjoyed a comfortable overnight stay. The food was excellent, both evening meal and breakfast. Parking was an issue, especially unloading the car on arrival. However, as previously mentioned in another review there is car parking available close by if there is space. We were made to feel welcome as was our dog, Would recommend and would stay again.
We had a lovely superior room with a very comfortable bed and a perfectly adequate ensuite bathroom. The cooked breakfast is outstanding with the bacon, sausages, black pudding etc being supplied by the local butcher I believe. We had dinner on one of the evenings and chose steaks which we delicious. The staff were very friendly and eager to please. We had our dog with us and she was treated very well by all of the staff. There is no parking at the hotel but there is a long term public carpark no more than 5 mins walk away costing £1 for 24 hours.
Went on a Travelzoo Sunday night voucher. Very impressed. Spacious, clean, well-lit comfortable bedroom. Dinner menu excellent - could have eaten ALL the dishes (so will have to return). Friendly, courteous and efficient service. Only caveat - NO parking - BUT less than 100 yards away you can park in the square for nothing for 2 hours from 08.00 until 18.00 ............ so you can arrive at 16.00, and stay till 10.00
Stayed at the white hart for 2 nights this week as I was working away. Lovely pub, nice atmosphere and friendly locals, well kept ales and a couple roaring fires. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, generous sized en suite too. I ate here both nights, first night I had the pork belly with mash, tender, crispy pork with loads of flavour, the next eve I had the slow roast lamb with red wine jus, also tried the crumble and the sticky toffee pud over the 2 nights. All the food was superb, meat comes from the butcher opposite the pub. Overall an excellent stay with friendly welcoming staff, a nice pub to be in. Great work by all the staff. I would stay here again for certain
The accommodations on this place are above pub, my room was vey clean with comfy single bed, free coffe tea milk biscuits on the room, friendly and very welcoming staff, location was on high street which unfortunately was hard to find parking but the was a parking place about 5 minutes away
We booked a Christmas meal for 11 friends and had pre ordered our food. However due to a chef error there was an issue with two meals. I had ordered one gluten free and one without pork, both arrived but not gluten free and with turkey wrapped in bacon! The initial response of the staff was very unprofessional and inappropriate but once the issue was brought to the attention of Anthony, the owner it was dealt with quickly. Anthony went above and beyond to put things right for us, he was both efficient and very generous. I understand in busy situations that mistakes can happen and it is how it is dealt with that is important and on this occasion this was most definitely the case.
