We stayed here for 2 nights in room 4. Lovely, large, comfortable 4 poster bed in a huge, clean room with en-suite facilities which included bath and separate shower cubicle. Decoration was good throughout. Breakfast was very good. Friendly service. There was plenty of room for parking and the location is very handy for both Southsea front and the High...

July 2016, and we're back again. Still a lovely place to stay. Wayne is just one of the nicest people. Upper Mount House is still as good as it has been on our previous visits. I can recommend this as a great place to stay

Brilliant place to stay, set in one of Southsea's original streets but just a short walk to the centre. Room (no 8) was excellent, clean and had everything you needed, breakfast is a must and sets you up for the rest of the day. Have stayed previously and will be staying again.

Staff really made you feel at home in this lovely house. We stayed in the family attic room which can host up to 4 people. Plenty of hot drinks facility. Comfortable beds. Reading room on the ground floor. Plenty of restaurants just a few minutes walk away. 10 minutes walk from the seafront.

Our party of five people booked three different rooms for two nights, all nice, comfortable and clean. Location is quiet and convenient, we can’t really fault Wayne and his staff, this is a good value. Recommanded.
