We booked a trip to this amazing venue due to the fact we managed to find a deal for almost half the price. The weather could not have been more perfect as we sailed across to the solent to the fort. when we arrived we were greeted by Dom and the team, as we walked further through I couldn't believe...

My hubby booked this as a surprise for our 20th wedding anniversary, it was totally awesome. The renovations of the Fort are fantastic, there are so many little nooks and crannies all filled with so much history, and you are encouraged to touch things and find little hidden treasures. We even walked through the "Bolt Hole". I have never used...

We had a fantastic time at this unique and quirky hotel. We just stayed 1 night which I think was about right to experience this place, There is a lot to explore and with only 16 guests and a handful of staff it really felt more like a luxury house party. The food was excellent but overall I think its...

We had 2 nights here and really enjoyed it. Due to bad weather on the day we were supposed to leave, we were offered the second night at a discount - which we took up. I wouldn't stay more than 2 nights but the time we spent here was well worth it. The outstanding thing about Spitbank is not only...

My dad turned 60 in Feb 2017 so booked him a trip to spitbank fort as that's where he wanted! Expensive for sure but I saw the reviews and decided it was worth it.... I booked for his 60th Birthday and it was cancelled due to high winds 2 days before (on the day it was sunny and no winds)...

Husband took me as a Valentines surprise and from start to finish it was incredible. Staff took brilliant care of us, nothing was too much trouble - Kyle even taught us how to open champagne with a sabre in the comfort of our room. Food was lovely. Very much enjoying sitting in the roof top hot tub sipping champagne in...

My Husband Sean and I have just got married and I turned 60 a few days latter. As a gift my family paid for a week in Portsmouth which included a 24 hour stay at the Spitbank Fort Hotel. Wow, from the minute we booked in at the Fort office we were made to feel like royalty. Our bags were...

Was supposed to have gone on valentine day for 2 days as a surprise for the love of my life but we ended up going on the 15th due to weather problems which spoilt the surprise . The romantic ambience of the boat trip to the spitbank was spoilt by a group of at least 40 people ( noisy youngsters...

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and I can honestly say it was the best present I've ever received! The fort is beautiful, with lots of cool history, which they tell you about on the tour. The staff were so lovely and I really liked their approach - they were always on hand when needed but gave you...
