Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A last minute booking made with ease direct with the hotel. Lovely little boutique hotel with parking around the back (£7.50per night), exposed steel beams and lovely rooms with very comfortable beds. Perfect location for Southampton city centre and the isle of wight ferry. Would highly recommend.

This is a lovely place to stay. We stayed here for one night before going on our holiday. Lovely staff and it is very clean and tidy. The rooms are welcoming and just what you need to have a nice sleep and rest. You get tea and coffee in the room. Towels, Bathrobes, toiletries. There is a mini bar but you do pay for what you use. We had a lovely breakfast in the morning before our onward journey. We have booked again this year. There are no lifts in the building so you do have to carry your suitcases up the stairs, but they will do it for you if you can't manage it.

Wow - the level of service at this hotel and restaurant is exceptional. From the moment we checked in for an overnight stay to the assistance with parking for our ongoing trip nothing was too much trouble and the staff went over and beyond. We stayed in a beautiful, quiet room which led to us having a wonderful peaceful nights sleep. We dined in the restaurant in the evening and both the quality of food and service were excellent. This trait continued over breakfast and you were left feeling that the staff genuinely enjoy looking after you ! we will most def be returning and recommending to family and friends.

Got to say i would absolutely recommend this hotel and restaurant in a heartbeat. The staff are so friendly, the room was beautiful as was the bed . Fabulous shower. We ate in the restaurant downstairs for dinner and i have never had such a beautifully presented and tasty salt baked sea bass in my life. The breakfast was the same and an amazing choice.

We stayed at the Ennios Hotel in early August before we embarked on a cruise. This quaint hotel is very comfortable and accommodating. The restaurant has excellent food and service. The only negative is the lack of an elevator which is not the fault of the hotel. The entire staff was absolutely lovely.

We stayed here with 3 other couples and it was fantastic. Due to arrival time of our flight, we arrived around 10am and settled in to the lobby area. Joe asked us if we wanted to order any coffees, which he was quick to supply. He also had the unfortunate task of carrying the bags up when the rooms were ready. The rooms were beautiful with plenty of space. There was a sitting area and large bathroom as well. Everything provided was top notch. Because we booked directly online, we enjoyed a full breakfast the next morning, served by Joe! It was all great. The location is extremely convenient for walking around town and to restaurants. Definitely a top notch small hotel.

we stayed 4 nights between mid July to early August. Rooms were fine, well appointed and front desk folks helpful. As it is a boutique hotel there is not a lot of room in the lobby to sit around. Not a lot to do in the harbour area. if you want to dine away from the hotel, same comment, not a lot there. Restaurant is great!

This boutique hotel although petite was ideal for our overnight stay for an ongoing cruise stop off. From start to finish we could not fault the hotel in any way. Food was magnificent & breakfast as well was delicious. Highly recommend!
