After staying years ago when it was a De Vere we expected a similar standard... Not what we got! Tired and Stressed looking staff which were in a short supply... Bar area the tables were dirty and full of used plates, cups and glasses - one very stressed looking barmaid, coughing over people sat at the bar and looking bewildered....

hotel very tired, spa very busy unable to use pool because there was an exercise class of sorts taking place. Robes smelt bad and needed replacing because they were dirty and there was no where to hang robes when using steam and sauna so had to put them on the floor!! The massage was no more than a 'tickle' Jacuzzi...

We were excited to have a voucher to use for champagne afternoon tea at the Grand Harbour at the weekend. Unfortunately our experience did not match our expectations. Having made a booking for 3pm, when we arrived service was very slow with the afternoon tea not being served until 3.30pm and also having to wait a long time for drinks....

Having cruised from Southampton before I was looking forward to staying for the first time at the Grand Harbour. The hotel was full as there was a cruise ship going out the next day and we got a room last minute. We had a disabled access room which was not a problem but had either of us been disabled it...

Selected this hotel over cheaper options as wanted a bit of luxury. Hotel starting to look tired in rooms and in pool area. Restaurant at breakfast was badly managed with queues to get tables and disinterested staff but food was fine. It's alright but think Premier Inn would have been just as good and cheaper.

Had a lovely weekend break here, check in was quick and easy and the staff member at the desk was welcoming. Room was a good size and clean as was the bathroom. Our only minor complaint was that the window didn't open, it looked like it had been screwed shut whether this was because it was broken or for safety...

Stayed at this hotel prior to going on a cruise, ideal location to cruise terminals, very convenient to all the main shops in the area. Hotel staff very helpful and polite. We had a very spacious clean room on the second floor with a sea view and a small balcony. Large comfortable bed was a nice bonus. A restaurant and...

Oh where to begin on how bad this hotel really is.. Firstly, there are hardly any staff working at this hotel which made checking in an absolute nightmare, one member of staff on the front desk and a 20+ minute wait to finally check-in. Once I did check-in and got to my room the key-card didn't work, back down to...

Pool and Changing Areas very dirty, smelly, generally neglected and run down. Waiting for what seems to be and age to get served at Bar, whole Hotel seemed almost abandoned and relatively under staffed, no concierge etc. Guest at Bar becoming overfamiliar/harassing female member of Staff, Night Manager who looked more like nightclub doorman came over and asked him for...
