We stayed in a junior suite which was overlooked on the balcony by the next room so no privacy one of the basins in the bathroom was cracked and unhygienic the shower was dirty and had black mould the air-conditioning didn't work the TV was being cast to by other rooms the fridge didn't work properly and at £275 for a night was not expectable for a 4 star hotel when we did complain to reception the night staff were rude and offered no apology couldn't wait to leave the hotel is old and tired and screaming out for a refurbishment

Room was lovely with view of harbour and balcony. The sauna and steam room and swimming pool were nice after long walk around historic city the team at the front desk were very good on check in and Jimmy helped me out when I wanted to extend my stay.

Absolutely fantastic from check in to check out The room was extremely clean, good decoration, spacious with a large, very comfortable bed and a bathroom with a tub, very comfortable and clean. The hotel in general is in very good condition and very clean. There is a very good atmosphere, all of the staff are very friendly and pleasant. The bar service is very attentive and always with a smile and good attitude. The reception is very professional and friendly. The breakfast was very varied and of good level and quality and the staff was always willing to help. I want to mention Jimmy for his great kindness and concern so that we feel at home to Georgia, Lucky at reception who welcomed me in a very professional and friendly manner. Bruno, Alexandra Guest Relations who always worried that everything was fine during my stay Alex, Luis from the bar who treated me very professionally and always with a smile The truth is that I really enjoyed my stay. I definitely recommend this hotel. It is absolutely fantastic. What more can I say?

We are traveling this weekend as a family of 10 in 5 rooms to join a cruise . Had to speak to the hotel twice regarding our booking this week with questions and both occasions spoke to Jimmy on reception who was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. He even emailed me menus for the restaurants so all members of our party could look over them . Great service and we’ve not even arrived yet . Looking forward to our stay . Thanks Jimmy

This place looks incredible! For the price that you pay you feel like you are in the wrong hotel it’s so nice. The staff are also very kind considering it is so posh and the location is pretty much perfect we had a sea view and you are also a 5 minute walk away from the shopping area. I will definitely be coming back.

The assistant front office manager jimmy was amazing and kind showing us the rooms and the facilities ultimately, we were amazed how clean, and how kind the staff are in the hotel and we will 100% stay at the hotel on our next holiday at Southampton. Don’t book interconnecting rooms . We had to phone up security at 1130 at night as we are 2 lone women and the man next door trying to get in our room via the interconnecting doors. We could hear every word spoken and it was so loud . We gave up on any sleep as next door banging around shouting till 1am . I had to shout out them 3 times to not push the handle up and down and to leave us alone ! . Hotel room clean and breakfast yummy 🤤 hotel near town and the port . Would boom again but never to an interconnecting room!
