    Have stayed here a couple of times when cruising from Southampton. We have parked our carfor 2 weeks on there car park. They will order you a taxi to take you to the port.The breakfasts are very good. Nice and clean place with friendly staff.

    Dear Guest, You appear to have posted your review twice under two separate accounts. As explained to your several times, there are over 10 signs in the car park which clearly state that you must register your vehicle in the hotel to prevent being issued with a parking penalty. As you failed to follow the simple instruction, the ANPR cameras automatically issued a penalty. You didn't contact me at the hotel until after you had paid the penalty and therefore, gave the hotel no opportunity to assist you due to your own error. I have cancelled the ticket for you and arranged for a refund, therefore, I don't really understand how you consider this to be unhelpful. We appreciate the feedback.

    Weekend away to see family
    We all ways stay here but must say this time the room was very dusty which is not good for me as l suffer from asthma. This time we also found to very friendly staff which as lovely, we like staying here as we can take the dogs with us. Hoping to go back next April

    Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. Apologies that you were not satisfied with your stay. I'm sorry that you felt the room appeared to smell of cigarette smoke. I'd like to assure you that all of our rooms are non smoking, unfortunately, from time to time, some guests do ignore the regulations and smoke in designated non smoking areas. We do take these types of incidents very seriously and if discovered would apply a smoking penalty charge and leave the room out of service whilst we complete additional cleaning and airing of the room. Our highly sensitive fire alarm will normally be activated in such instances, therefore, any excessive smoking would not go without detection. We appreciate all feedback as it helps us to improve. For future reference, should you not be satisfied with a room that is allocated to you, please speak to reception and they will always be happy to assist by relocating you to a more suitable room.     Paul in response to your comment from my review I was not offered another room, as you will see there are 2 paid for bookings the 28th of February (the met office warnings were that day and the following) even though I explicitly explained the circumstances the ignorant woman would not accommodate ! Likely the same ignorant woman on Sunday evening who refused twice for a late check out! Then proceeded to tell Me when I reported the room was freezing, said nothing I can do about that and threw a tiny blow heater in the room! On a positive the staff the next morning were lovely & the poor young chap who was on in the early evening with that ignorant woman was really nice too. Can you check the 2 bookings please this will verify my feedback?

    I don’t believe they offer parking for the duration of a cruise. The car park is a standard size for a smallish hotel. However, we didn’t ask the question so maybe contact them directly.

    Does the hotel have a restaurant and/or a bar?
    Hi there, the hotel does not have a Bar or Evening Restaurant. A selection of bottled drinks may be purchased from reception and there is a neighbouring restaurant and bar. The hotel does have a Breakfast room. Hope this information helps.

    How far are you from the city centre please?
    Not sure where you call "city centre" but this hotel is pretty central (almost on doorstop of Uni) and about 2.5km from West Quay. Bus stops are very close by.
