My daughter and I stayed just one night over the last weekend and will definitely be returning next time we are in the area. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and shown all the facilities before being shown to our delightful twin bedded room. We needed to be out early on Sunday

We were so grateful for this review. We felt very sorry that our guests were off colour and unable to eat the breakfast we had cooked for them, but were not in the least put out! These things happen and the food was not wasted because it provided meals for us! These guests had come for an event at the Sparsholt Agricultural College Equine Centre. As a horse owning family ourselves, we particularly enjoyed hearing about their experiences. We are delighted to know that they will be returning sometime

It was such a pleasure to host these delightful guests and now to know that we helped launch their cruise in a good way. We get a lot of guests who stop over on the night before a cruise. Invariably they do not wish to take the risk of travelling from home on the day of the cruise departure for fear of being delayed by traffic. As it i, they can break their journey with us, enjoy a good dinner at the Plough, a good night's rest, breakfast cooked to order and then have plenty of time to complete their journey to the cruise terminal which takes about half an hour, traffic permitting

Our family occupied all three rooms as we were attending a family wedding. Usual checking in time is 16:00, but by prior arrangement, we were made very welcome at 12:00. Lovely comfortable rooms in a family home. Breakfast was very good, everything being freshly prepared.
