We spent 2 nights at Bridge House, a wonderful B&B in beautiful, peaceful countryside, with easy access to Winchester and beyond. Stephanie and Mike are extremely warm, welcoming and friendly hosts, and we felt totally Covid safe during our stay. We had the 'blue' room that has its own ensuite with gorgeous views over the garden; spotlessly clean and lots of 'extras' should you have forgotten anything. Breakfast was delicious with ample offerings including Stephanie's gorgeous homemade granola, fresh/cooked fruits and plenty of tea/coffee; Mike was extremely helpful with booking places for our evening meals (as required during Covid restrictions) before we arrived. We felt totally relaxed and very comfortable throughout our stay; many thanks to our kind and wonderful hosts - a pleasure to meet. Highly recommended! Read less

We had a one night stay at Bridge House and cannot recommend it highly enough! Steph and Nick were delightful and it felt as if we were staying with friends.. We were welcomed with tea and delicious home make cake and biscuits. Our room was extremely comfortable, with gorgeous bedlinen, down pillows and fresh flowers and we had a wonderful breakfast the following morning. We certainly hope to stay again and enjoy the local area.

Very quiet and comfortable with excellent cooked breakfast and before that, lovely tea on arrival. Good location very close to Winchester. We used it for the night after a part with friends and it was just the ticket.

We stayed for 2 nights in the blue room which has a generous en-suite and great views over the garden. The B&B is in a quiet spot, with easy access to great walks and a pub within walking distance (accessed via a walk along the old Watercress Line). Mike and Stephanie are welcoming hosts and supply a hearty, tasty breakfast (the homemade granola was my personal favourite). We'll happily go back should an opportunity arise!

This is B&B at its best from the warm welcome with tea and cakes in the beautiful garden to the very good sized bedroom with adequate luggage and wardrobe space, the very comfortable bed and in particular down pillows and tea/coffee making facilities with fresh milk. In the room there were lots of little extras often needed when travelling, like sewing kits etc. Breakfast was excellent. Most of all the hosts were a lovely charming couple who were also very interesting to chat with. There was also a very attractive lounge for guests to use. The location is quite close to both the lovely South Downs countryside and close to the M3, yet absolutely still and quiet. We had a lovely walk along a disused old railway track to an excellent dinner in the local village pub. We’d certainly want to stay again and give it an excellent rating.
