Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Convieniently located off the southbound M3. Jen & the other staff were very friendly & helpful. Clean rooms. Services off selection of food with M&S also on site - could do with a Greggs for the mornings, though Costa (expensive) have a presence.

Excellent value for money. Jen on the front desk is always very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are clean and always stocked with tea and coffee. There is always a microwave in the hall which is very convenient. Have visited many times for business.

Exactly what you would expect for the money Jen on the check in desk was fantastic and very helpful if you want food there is a microwave you can use but my advice would be to buy from a supermarket before you arrive as it’s a service station which can be very expensive

Last minute decision while on the road to stay here overnight ... and it was the comfiest bed, and doona and pillows, in 4 cities and 3 weeks of travel. And, at the most economical rates... Staff have been superfriendly especially Jen on the Front Desk. She gave us great travel info, really helpful advice and the warmest smile in the U.K. We will absolutely stay here again on our trip back

Never seen a hotel where pillows did not have pillow cases and there was no spare blanket. Bed so soft it was like a Trampoline. No shampoo, just hand wash in the bathrooms. You have heard of tired decor, this decor was exhausted. However, it was clean.

Ive read a few comments and had a chuckle (no its not the ritz!) Its an incy wincy fraction of the cost of a night there, it is not even sensible to compare - with a fraction of budget/ staff etc - from my experience the staff do an amazing job, with a high turn around, which can be extremely demanding. Thank you for the smiles and warm welcome, thank you for doing your best and being professional in all situations. What a lovely, friendly, quiet and extremely good value hotel.

Checked in although i didnt realise i was a bit early. The manager was there and was really friendly and welcoming and gave authorisation for me to check in early! This was a great start to my stay. Then jen on reception made it even better. She was lovely and incredibly attentive to my needs. I asked if i coukd have a room with a bath due to an injury. This was a big ask but not too much trouble for her. She easily swapped my room and offered me the extra refreshments. She directed me happily to my room which was clean, tidy and smelled delighful I stay almost every other day in day inns, travelodges and premier inns and this is the best service i have recieved so far. Thank you especially to Jen, the manager (sorry i didnt get your name) and the cleaning team! Will definitely stay again when i am next in the area Adam

Stayed for one night prior to an appointment in Winchester. 15 min into town during rush hour so a good location. Only paid £40 for the room so wasn’t expecting the Ritz! Nice spacious room, comfy beds but so tired looking. Bathroom could really do with a good deep clean. Dust around the edge of the floor and grouting could do with some bleach and a good scrub. I found the sound of the motorway quite soothing. But I can imagine it could be noisy if you needed the window open. Room wasn’t overly warm and couldn’t work out how to put the heater on! Overall if you want somewhere cheap to sleep and aren’t too fussy this would be ok

Stayed for two nights. Asked for, and got, an upper floor room. Bathroom sink was badly cracked, lampshade hanging off and no mattress cover (thin sheet over mattress). The room was basically clean but in need of attention
