Travellers' Choice
Our Hereford Blackfriars Street hotel is in a great location for exploring this historic market town. It's next to Hereford's Old Market shopping centre, where you can shop for plenty of high street brands, and less than a five-minute walk from Edgar Street stadium - the home of Hereford FC. Hereford is a major historical site; the 17th Century Black and White House Museum and the world's largest medieval map, the Mappa Mundi, are both under a mile away from our hotel. When you're feeling peckish, stop by our in-house Thyme restaurant for a delicious meal and when you're done for the day, look forward a relaxing sleep on one of our super-comfy beds.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Prior to check in, the staff team (Linda) was super helpful, on a last minute phone call to arrange a travel cot and car parking and general support. The room was set up when we arrived which was amazing. The restaurant staff were very cheerful and helpful despite of it being very busy.

On arrival greeted by a cheerful and polite Vi who completed checkin whilst taking my breakfast and evening meal reservations. Room was standard Premier Inn. Clean well appointed and comfortable. Would have liked additional tea and coffee rather than having to collect from reception (minor observation) Dinner was on another level. Having travelled for work extensively for past 15 years the service from Edon and Vi was 1st Class with the very best Chicken Goujons ever eaten followed by a sublime Katsu Curry. Prepared by Dom. These three ladies smashed it out of the park. If Premier Inn & Thyme restaurants could clone staff they should with these three. Fantastic service, quality food. Thank you.

Fantastic from initial booking (which had to be altered several times due to illness etc) to the stay itself. Reception staff are just brilliant, really helpful and cheery so HUGE shout out to them. Room more than adequate, very clean, comfy and surprisingly roomy. The location is superb and a great breakfast too. Will definitely be back.

Stayed 2 nights at the Old Market Premier in in March. Visiting the cathedral and the Mappa Mundi. Everything form car parking through to checkout was completely to our satisfaction. We requested a more comfortable chair for use during the night and, although there was not one of the right type in the room, the young man provided one fitting the bill in minutes. Excellant. We've used Premier Inn numerous times and if you are visiting a new place and want guaranteed clean and comfortable rooms with excellant beds for overnight, they are excellant value for money. You get what you pay for.

I previously had just Ok experience with Premier Inn. They have upped their game. This is a great hotel central to needs with lots of facilities. It’s not really a budget hotel in what you get. Impressive.

Parking mix up upon check in and was charged £100 for two night parking. Spoke to ali on the phone and she sorted it all out and has arranged for a refund. Thank you for being so helpful friendly and efficient! 😀not sure if the registration was taken down wrong on arrival but main thing is, it has been sorted! Thanks again for your help 😀

Excellent service from staff at this branch, in particular the dining and bar staff Laura, Vi and Alli who remembered orders from the previous night and coked fresh items for breakfast. This was probably the best stocked buffet I've experienced at Premier Inn. Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while having what should have been a gruelling test at the County hospital it didn't turn out to be that bad, staying the night before was to ensure I got to my appointment on time,I live too far away to even consider driving there and back in one day. I took several hours trying to find it, and in the end, which i should have done way sooner than I did, I phoned the hotel, I got a detailed location for it, and I realised I'd driven past it endlessly. I pulled up on the pavement right outside and went in in a proper anxious state, I was greeted warmly and booked in a member of staff took my bags up to my room for me, and I was told where I could park

The hotel is in a great location for accessing the city and with parking on site. A lovely and helpful welcome off Laura and room top class, as was breakfast in the morning. Clean and comfortable as I have come to expect from Premier Inn. Thank you.
