My sisters and I stayed overnight at this bed and breakfast hotel , owning to my brother in law being critically ill in Hereford hospital. Doreen the proprietress stayed up and brought tea and toast in the middle of the night for two exhausted worried residents. Her kindness was amazing. The hotel was clean and comfortable . A peacefull location?...

A rather tired looking building, Hopbine house is in need of a lift and some tlc. For a one night stay, in our case; whilst on a weekend visit to friends in Hereford. Rooms are adequate; bathrooms, small and inadequate. Breakfast was plentiful and hot. Not particularly expensive but it felt so afterwards. Ideal for what we needed, a place...

Room had clearly not been cleaned, floor wasn't hoovered. Beds were thrown together and bedding smelt damp. Mice in roof space were noisy. Shower had to be held to use as wouldn't stay upright !!! We were woken at 3am by the people in next room having a party with friends. Whilst the owner can't be blamed entirely for this,...

One of the oddest places I have ever stayed. As other reviewers have said, there is no one to greet you when you arrive and pulling up to a huge and imposing listed building with no one else around is a little surreal. Our room felt odd. Very large but also not very clean...lots of dust, spiders, moths etc. (and...

The Hopbine is different than other b&b's. Indeed there was no reception. Make a call and they give you the entrancecode and your roomnumber. Room is very clean, unfortunately our bed was not so big so we slept very close to eachother (most of the time nice, but... Not when the temperature is higher in summer). Breakfast was very much...

I was bumped here as my room at the Munstone Hotel was apparently damaged. Set up is strange as already covered by another reviewer, no one in the property and you call a number to get in to property, and mobile phone reception comes and goes. Place is very tired and not especially clean. I would have not checked in...

Yes it is true there is no Reception!! - but a 30 second call and we had the key code and were in the room - I had no Problem at all with that - it worked a dream in fact far more efficient than checking in to most hotels - Ignore the previous ridiculous comments - they seem very...

There is no one one to welcome you or let you in the idea seems to be that you phone number on he door, wait for them to call you back with a code to open the door and then go to your room which is open with the key in the door. There is no reception area, and I...

We had good sized room,no central heating and were cold for most of the one night stay.A small convector heater on the wall was inadequate to warm the room. The subdued lighting made the room dark and not helped by a missing bulb. The loo seat was only partially attached and difficult to negotiate. An air lock in the water system was intrusive...

We arrived about 9pm without reservations and like the other letters we had to call a number to gain access....but so what? We checked ourselves in and the room assigned was spacious, clean and had an Elizabethan bed to die for. It could be the one in the picture. The bathroom was large and, yes, under final construction but fully...
