Probably the most welcoming b and b / hotel I've ever stayed at. Greeted on arrival and offered a drink, given a coffee and cake whilst we perused the pre order breakfast menu. Taken up to our rooms, even our cases were carried for us. Lovely clean comfortable room, great sound proofing, heard no outside noise. Helpful friendly hosts. Breakfast room was bright and homely, breakfast was lovely. I would definitely stay here again. A 20 minute walk into the heart of the city where the shops and cafes are. A visit to the cathedral is a must.

We have stayed several times in this lovely hotel over the last two months. It is hard to find the words to express how well Michael and Adam looked after us. Parking, rooms, breakfast and hospitality are tremendous. There is a great atmosphere there. The breakfast room is spacious and airy. The bar is traditional and snug. The bowes lyon room we used on each visit is a delight and very comfortable. Whether visiting the city or like us need to be close to the hospital give Aylestone Court hotel a ring.

Booked the Aylestone Court Hotel as we were attending birthday celebrations nearby. From the initial phone call to checking out the service and attention to detail was amazing. Rooms are all individual. Breakfast, just the right amount (didn’t feel over fed nor short changed) and beautifully presented. Just a 15 minute walk to the cathedral and city centre, perfectly located for a quiet nights sleep. 100% recommend and will definitely book again if I’m in the area.

This is a nice family-run hotel. A bit quirky but in a good location. They served a lovely breakfast and the free parking was a real attraction. It's only a 10-minute walk to the city centre. The staff were really friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay there again. The only slight problem we had was that the radiator in the bathroom wouldn't work (which we reported), therefore it was very cold in the bathroom. I am glad to report that this has been fixed now. I can recommend this hotel.

We arrived in the middle of a very busy afternoon for Michael and his team and were welcomed more warmly than we have ever been in the many many stays we have had in this country and abroad. Michael and the lady with him were absolutely charming and sat us down with a cup of tea in minutes. When I booked, he asked me if I wanted info on local restaurants as unfortunately his was not open and he sent me a very friendly email with a list of restaurants and helpful comments about them. We had a lovely stay, breakfast was good, room comfortable with everything you required. Thank you so much Michael

Great location, beautiful hotel and wonderfully accommodating staff. Less than a five minute walk from the train station, and a 10 minute walk from the Old Market, where lots of restaurants and shops are. The room we stayed in was lovely. Large, clean, and very comfortable. We will definitely come and stay again.

Our room was spacious (Bownes-Lyons room) clean and well appointed. Our hosts were attentive and ensured our stay was hassle free for the 2 nights we strayed. We found our bed very comfortable and going to breakfast with a nice choice and pleasant surroundings. It was great to be able to walk into the town-meaning I could chose to have a drink and not have to worry about driving back to the hotel. 10 out of 10 😁
