Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I usually stay in a Travelodge but I saw this nice little place for half the price. Nothing to fault. Nice welcome, the room was a good size for one person ( it was single room ), the evening meal was very nice, polite staff and the breakfast was very tasty.

I had a great two nights stay at the Harewood End Inn, all the staff were super welcoming and kind. I ate at the Inn both nights and it was delicious! The breakfast was also incredible. Looking forward to staying there again.

We are a Dj company and played at the Harewood End Inn's New Years Eve event. Dan and Nicky were fantastic hosts and we had a great time with the friendly local people. There was a food buffet, which was lovely. Due to our work, we do quite a few overnight accommodations. The room was absolutely beautiful, large with an ensuite, with a combination of period and modern features. It was spotlessly clean from top to bottom. It was a pleasurable experience and will definitely visit again.

So noisy and cold in the room I couldn't stay and had to leave. I was told other people don't complain and they had mentioned it was on a main road. In fact it says 'just off so I presume that would be the case. It wasn't it was right on the road. She said the traffic calms down at night but starts again about 5 30am!
I was charged £42.50.

Excellent B & B, Owners could not be more helpful. Rooms are v.clean, modern and comfortable. Restaurant has a great selection of great tasting food. Would recommend this Inn to anyone needing accommodation, food or just a quiet drink.

On arrival we found Dan to be very pleasant and informative.
Checked in to our lovely room with ensuite. Had an ale then went and checked out Ross on wye.
Came back for a lovely dinner and a few more ales and a couple of games of pool. All customers seemed really happy to be there. Nice and quiet for a good nights sleep.
Couldn't wait to see if Dans promise of the best English breakfast I've ever seen would come through and I have to say it was amazing. Beautifully made and even better taste mmmmm
Cheers Dan & Nicki. Good luck with your plans for your future. Dave & Julie - All the way from Melbourne 😀🇦🇺

We have just returned from our stay at Harewood End Inn , we had a lovely big room and the bed was huge and so comfy , we had such a lovely meal last night I had chicken supreme and my husband had the hake which he said was lovely I also had the smoked haddock starter which was truly amazing I was told that they do it as a main which I shall definitely have the next time , the hosts were lovely and are clearly trying hard to make a go of this lovely pub , staff were very attentive during our meal , making sure we were happy , breakfast was amazing too just right !!! I only have two little grumbles in most bed and breakfast we stay in they have a selection of teas, which we didn’t have here only normal PG tips tea which I don’t drink I only drink herbal or green tea which there wasn’t that choice and also no toiletries in bathroom and we didn’t take any ! But it’s only a small grumble and maybe something to look at for the future but our stay was not blighted by it we had a great weekend look forward to going back

We booked in for one night stay at the Harewood End Inn on our way to visit NT sites in Herefordshire. The pub is well run and is spotless. Alot of time and effort has been put into the gardens, public areas and rooms. We booked in just after 6 so was asked if we needed a table to have a meal which we did. This was a lovely meal and reasonably priced. The beer was also well kept. One word of warning if you are a light sleeper you need to ask for a room at the rear of the pub. We had the window open because it was a warm bank holiday week end and the road is very noisy. We live by a busy road so didn't bother us and after a couple of drinks slept well. Breakfast was served at the alloted time and was very nice even the cleaner showed us the well in the dining room and was very chatty. So well done Dan, keep up the good work. Better than the Englands Gate inn which we stopped at the next night, read my review

Thank you Bridget; thank goodness you had a room left. Having left a somewhat disappointing "hotel" behind we found your lovely establishment and were immediately made to feel welcome. What a life saver :)
We wish you every success for the future and should we be in the area again we will certainly make reservations next time.

The staff and management made us feel welcome and could not be more helpful, the food was excellent and was reasonably priced.

Our room was clean and and we had an excellent nights sleep. We will stay at the Harewood Inn again as it was and excellent place to stay and was value for money.
