We have just had a wonderful weekend at Woodside Lodges Country Park. We booked 4 lodges which were all great. The 2 spring pools lodges we had were bright and modern overlooking a lake. The falcon wood lodge was ideal for when all 14 adults and 3 children got together as the living area is large and open plan and the view from the lodge went on for miles. Each morning we could see up to eight squirrels from the kitchen window and there were bird feeders there too to attract the birds. The smallest lodge was a Ledbury which was smaller than the others but still a lovely place to stay. All of the lodges were warm and cosy so we did not need to use the log burners provided. We also had 3 dogs and there were areas available in which to walk them. I would highly recommend this site and all of us would love to visit it again. The WiFi was poor but we didn’t really need it as the weekend was about spending time together.

Just come back from a 4 night tent camping trip at Woodside.
This place is beautiful.
It was so clean & well kept.
Staff were super friendly.
We were 1 of only 4 people (due to COVID) so my dogs were off lead the entire time.
Lovely lake walks on site.
16amp electric which is great.
This site is much larger than it looks on pictures.
Can’t fault this place and would love to come back.
The town of Ledbury is very tasteful and all local people were friendly. Took my dogs in all shops & pubs.

This is the second time we have visited within the last month and each time was brilliant! Facilities are all clean and the team are all willing to help! Didn’t realise you could reserve a spot so next time we will definitely pick the area we want but the field is pleasant with enough space for everyone to feel free. My young son adored all the fruit trees and brambles and spent many hours climbing trees and picking his harvest which we turned into a new delight - Woodside Crumble! There are lots of lovely walks around the site and the lakes added much excitement to my children’s holiday! Noise was minimal during both our stays - first mainly families and second time mostly big groups of adults but it seemed like everyone respected the quiet times on the site. We visited Eastnor Castle both times and also visited Puzzlewood which was a 45 minute drive away but well worth it! We will definitely be back!

I camped here whilst visiting friends in the area and would thoroughly recommend it. The showers/ toilets/ wash-ups were very clean and there was always piping hot water available. Good sized pitches and friendly helpful staff. Quiet at night. Best approached from the Ledbury - Hereford road as better signposting and therefore easier to locate. Beautiful scenic views from pitches. Will definitely go again.

We stayed in Ledbury Lodge 3 for the weekend.
Upon arrival the lodge looked wonderful, very clean and tidy, especially considering its age.
The surroundings were lovely, the pond in front had a few ducks that kept you entertained with their antics.

The kitchen was well equipped, although the wine glasses and mugs were very small and the tin opener didn't work.

The bathroom was nice and the bath was welcomed. The water was extremely hot out the taps.

However, the beds in the bedrooms were extremely hard and uncomfortable, resulting in sleepless nights and sore backs for the whole weekend.
The sofa and chair in the living room are past their use, they sag in the middle and all the arm cover zips are broken.

You can arrive after 3pm but have to leave by 9am on your departure day, which we found a struggle especially with it being a bank holiday.

Overall, it was nice to get away from home for a few days, but we probably wouldn't come back unless we booked one of the newer lodges.

Thank you for your comments - Beds are always a tricky one - we have many people who come back because of the beds, and then some that have commented that they are a bit hard, usually we can offer extra mattress toppers if you come and see us. With regards to the sofa, we have a new sofa and chair already arrived and waiting to go in - as when it was delivered there were no legs/feet - so we are waiting for them to be sent (they have just arrived today, so gutted for you) and this is our last lodge to have a complete kitchen refit and is scheduled in for the next gap we have at the end of April. Im so sorry, but hope that you can come and visit us another time once these improvements have been made. Many thanks

Had a fantastic stay at Woodside - the toilets and showers were always very clean. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Lots of space for everyone to spread out and the lake is a great extra! The firepits were a good idea and the campsite is in walking distance to Ledbury.

In a post Covid times woodside lodges was a great safe haven where we could relax and enjoy the fabulous surroundings and camp site facilities. We were originally booked in for two nights with our caravan but decided to stay a third night as it was so good. The pitches are large and you have the freedom to pick your own pitch and orientation of your caravan. The grounds are very well maintained and the staff friendly and helpful. The fishing ponds are very good and add that extra bit of tranquillity. Looking forward to a second visit later in 2021.

Nice campsite with a relaxed approach to allocating pitches. There’s a clay swimming lake with a jetty for jumping in. There’s also large carp in there but just don’t think about them nibbling your toes.
The toilets are modern but they also keep the heat in so on a warm day you come out sweaty and emotional. Also can’t tell if they’re in use so you have to walk along the row yanking on doors.
Ledbury is nice and there’s a class vegan cafe there.

We stayed here for one night as our first camping trip and we were very happy with the location and the facilities. Helen and Emma were very helpful answering all of my annoying questions prior to our arrival. Everyone was really friendly and we had a great pitch overlooking the lake. Really really nice!

A lovely, peaceful campsite in a beautiful location. The staff are friendly and the facilities are good. I'd particularly recommend staying in the smaller and quieter Orchard Field. We would stay again in a heartbeat and would recommend to anyone looking for a campsite in the area; it's in an absolutely gorgeous setting with a beautiful lake for swimming nearby. Thank you!
